New third jerseys/unis

Looks as if we are getting white helmets on Aug. 17. Already speculation that we'll get Cambridge Blue jerseys and the Lions will be wearing their abysmal "gun metal black" ones that night.

i believe the lions have said they are wearing there gun metal unis in toronto and at home to ssk this season.

so the argos might be all white.

Personally I really liked BC's onyx jerseys from last year and I think an Argo version would be pretty nice. However a Cambridge Blue jersey would make sense.

Given that Wpg wears gold on the road at times, I see no reason why we can't wear Cambridge Blue at home against the awful black Lions unis. I'll be surprised if jerseys are white; I just hope we don't get CB jerseys/pants -- much prefer CB/OB or CB/white for contrast.

I agree, a contrast is nicer. I also hope we get the proper Cambridge Blue:



I really like that the stripes on our current jerseys are the proper colours.

I agree with Paul, not a fan at all of the all black Lions jersey. There is a difference between the CFL and NCAA, one being a professional team.

I was just discussing white helmets on the weekend with my wife as we watched games.
I don't trust any Reebok designs. They either under or over design. Last years jersey's were crap with no logo other than Reebok on the front. I'd love to see the old boat or football boat logo's.
The white helmet does need a stripe. I too hope tat the jersey's aren't white. Cool to see old school Cambridge jersey and pants. Proper Cambridge as T Bone mentioned.

I'm now guessing a white jersey with silver lettering with a cambridge blue outline on the numbers. Who really knows? The CFL logo on the teaser seems to be silver.

That sure seems like predominantly white. Hopefully they go with Cambridge Blue numbers, Oxford Blue piping, and kind of replicate the gorgeous road jerseys from 1977-79. Either Oxford Blue or Cambridge Blue pants, please -- no white on white.

I agree with T-Bone re Cambridge Blue. I initially didn't love the colour, found it kind of greenish, but tradition, history and accuracy win out!
