A receiver by the name of Lavon Brazill is now an Argo: http://argonauts.ca/article/argos-ad...ractice-roster
It looks like he had some success in the NFL the last couple of years.

Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
I guess that is why the Colts released him in July. According to one report I read, he was the frontrunner for their fifth receiving spot at the time. I guess that suspended NFL players are allowed again to play in the CFL? After the Ricky Williams signing, I recall Tom Wright changing the rules so that suspended NFLers could not come north. If that rule was quietly changed back, I am glad that they did that.

Love Wikipedia ...... Already updated! http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaVon_Brazill
........LaVon Brazill (born March 15, 1989) is an American born Canadian football wide receiver for the Toronto Argonauts. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, and released after his second suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
Apparently the rule to have a year suspension for second time ( or more) positive testing for substance abuse is written in the NFLPA rules.... So no choice for the NFL. Heaven forbid if you tarnish the NFL brand.
The Argos already have a "loser drunk" on the team, and they're giving him a chance.
Recreational marijuana is already legal in Colorado and Washington state, but that hasn't affected NFL policies. I doubt that the CFL will be any more adaptable when it comes to employee policies, whether or not Canada adopts the same rules.
i'll watch for the dorito's on the sidelines....and an improvement in the receiving corps....
living in BC, most stoners are homeless or on welfare of some kind, or maybe still living on mom's couch in her basement...so i do understand why folks of this ilk would celebrate a commerade....
as an Argofan, i just want a decent receiver for Ricky to throw too

It would if it was a league consisting only of Seattle and Denver.
The NFL's weed ban would not have a legal leg to stand on if it was legalized nationwide. More States are possibly moving to legalization in November, and the NFL position on weed will become less justifiable with each one.
I heard that interview too, and yelled with joy when Barker said Brazill could return well. Looking forward to seeing that.
As to the the NFL changing their rules regarding pot ..... It's considered a game enhancing drug so I don't know if they would allow it ,even if it is legalized. ( sarcasm)
And as to people using it .... Apparently when Colorado opened their shops the first people in line were the professionals .... Lawyers, doctors , accountants etc
