      Thanks cis! I have since added end tables & purchased 2 of those Ikea "Paper Tower" lamps...gives the room a softer feel during games...glad the renovations were complete before the season started!!

      I'm still ticket that you have a Barnes jersey hanging rather than a Holloway jersey . IMO, the best thing to happen to the Argos in that era was the Barnes injury game 2 of the '82 season at Commonwealth.

      Ha Ha...Joe really took a hit in the buttocks that Saturday night IRC..my Holloway jersey does not have a name on it, besides, I wear it more....I will be wearing it to the game on the 4th of October against Edmonton...the Argos next home game...

      AV, as you mentioned, there are circumstances that don't permit some fans to attend more than they wish...commute, work schedule etc....but yes, I am A REAL FAN!!!

      That is a cool room, gilthethrill. I have the same clock (not in working order) and some of the other stuff including the boat logo flag, but a lot of my best paraphernalia is in storage at the moment.

      Yes, my helmet clock is broke again...but I will get it repaired. I think I bought my boat logo flag in 1986? I think Lester Brown was our primary RB...I imagine all my parphernailia pales in comparison to what you own Paul...thanks for the kind words.

      Was Lester Brown still with the team in '86? I thought he only played the 1 year in '84 (IIRC scored 18 TD's). I remember the Argos finishing the '86 season with William Miller who had previous good seasons with the Bombers.

      I looked it up..Brown played all the 84 season before being shipped off to the Concordes in 85...William Miller also played a season for the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL before returning to the CFL. But thats another story for another time.
