We can all breathe a sigh of relief as the game is good to go at 1 pm on Monday: http://www.thestar.com/sports/argos/...ats_clash.html
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
As I suspected, Underwood took off and never came back which is why the Argos have released him: http://www.torontosun.com/2014/08/31...back-underwood
It is a shame as he seemed to be getting better each week. BTW, I notice that he has been tweeting in recent days so he hasn't completely fallen off the map. Here is his latest:As interesting as this day has been I still have a smile on my face.

That's pretty crazy with all of the DB's. One cut, one retired, one disappeared. I'm not sure what to make of this. Unfortunately, the last two make our team look messed up. I get that they are not making NFL money but still, to leave or retire in midseason is bizarre and makes me wonder if more isn't going on. With the upheaval of a practice facility, office staff quitting, stadium lease expiring, maybe these guys had enough and felt it was too "bush league". I look forward to the day when they are in their own home and on much more stable footing. Go Argos, show everyone that you're for real today!
That's what you get when you sign so so many rookies every season. One thing that seperates us with the West is the large amount of player turnover each season. Vets won't do this but if Braley isn't ready to spend then of course we have to sign rookies to the league minimum.
Argos Season Ticket Holder 2016-2021.
The bus trip today for the Argos as well as all the things you mention remind me of a book I have called "The Rebel League". It has great stories about the old WHA. One would think these issues would not take place in a pro league in 2014. A win today with all these barriers would be that much sweeter.
After testing his shoulder pregame, Andre Durie tells me he will not play in the Labour Day Classic #Argos #CFL

One (or more) of our receivers will need to exceed expectations today.
Durie and Herbert are our scratches today.
Opening kickoff. Great way to start.
You have to be kidding me! What an embarrassment!
Phew, only 3. Ok, settle down Argos.
What a kick by Swayze. 77 yards!
Well, unlike Ottawa, Hamilton doesn't have to wait long to see their first touchdown in their new stadium.
Get a feeling it's going to be one of those games. Hopefully Ray can get the offense going next drive. Can't let Ti-Cats start pulling away.
Here we go with another 'let the home team win in their new stadium game'. Ottawa, Winterpeg and now Hamilton. I worried about this from the first time I saw the sked. Having Owens and Durie out pretty much guarantees it IMO.
I've said before that the Argos' defence lack of continuity would cause major problems. It obviously has as the Argos have the highest points given up per game, except for first year Ottawa, entering the Labour Day Classic and now they are behind 10-1, even though the Ticats are going into the wind and the game has just started.
Defense comes through with a safety. Why is the defense generating our points?
The Argos get two points, thanks to their best defender so far, Swayze Waters, whose second booming punt put the Ticats on the one.
