    Ever wonder what cheerleaders get paid?

    and they KNOW it before they TRY-OUT....

    so its not like they are being forced to do anything...typical CBC left wing crap article..im sure the toronto RED star will have a follow story

    Some of the ladies (at least in the NFL) evidently do care if they're pursuing legal action.

    In addition, let's not allow this thread to turn into a left vs. right issue.

    So these women, voluntarily attend a TRYOUT, knowing that its basically a UNPAID job, with perks. Then complain about it....

    Seems like a simple solution, DONT TRY OUT....

    They've been sidelined. Five former members have filed a lawsuit alleging hundreds of hours of unpaid work and degrading treatment, such as being forced to sit on men’s laps and even a jiggle test to check their weight.The suit also complains that the squad was given a handbook with beauty, hygiene and etiquette rules such as “do not overeat bread at a formal sitting,” and “when menstruating, use a product that [sic] right for your menstrual flow.


    This section of the article suggests to me there is more meat than just a case of a few cheerleaders being upset about not being paid.
