TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
Rocket, do you still have your tickets? We're interested and will be heading to THF this afternoon.
What has been the experience of anyone who has switched their TV and internet service from Rogers to Bell?
I have wanted to switch this year due to the abysmal treatment of the Argonauts by Rogers, but the two times I have checked, Bell's services have come out as more expensive. Also, I have been told that their customer service leaves something to be desired.
3,401. A new, sad low for Argos and CFL. Really unfortunate.

Love this tweet from Cox. Completely chooses to ignore the context. I saw one Argo fan on Twitter go at it with a Toronto FC fan a few months back, and the latter kept citing the Ft. McMurray attendance as part of the home average because CFLDB or something like that included it.

Yes context is in short supply these days. It will make our home attendance the lowest likely in recorded history.
Funny thing is, taking things out of context can do the opposite as well. Once the first season is in the books as assuming the new ownership and management to their part in rebuilding and expanding the fan base. They can take next year's numbers and compare it to this season's 'home' attendance and say it's a records % increase. I wonder if anyone will call them out on that? I'm sure Rogers will.
At least he's acknowledged there was a game. I don't think he's actually dumping on the Argos, like Kurt Larson, TFC's columnist at the Sun does but it is unfortunate with their circumstance. I'm not a Damien Cox fan but he's given the game more publicity with that tweet than most media in Toronto. Let's be realistic, it is sad because the Argos are made to feel like a hobo team.
Came to that conclusion myself, they are both big national companies that were given monopolies by the CRTC. I've tried but I could not justify switching to Bell for Cable TV. That's all I got with Rogers. Bell does home phone better as they control all the landline wiring in the same way Rogers controls the TV cable lines. I don't use all the bandwith offered with bell internet and they have no more DSL for lighter internet bandwith, so I've switched internet from cable to a smaller company that does rent bell's phone lines and notice internet reception is way faster than it was with Rogers cable for my needs.
Bell phone, bell business phone and bell dish. Odd complaint but they are all like same aren't they? Rogers cares about Rogers and making money off of Canadians while not giving a crap about Canada.
I wonder if he tweeted something similar in April of 2013 when the Leafs were in the playoffs, and nobody cared about or went to Blue Jays games that were being played on the same day as a Leaf Playoff game? Of course not, he wouldn't be employed by Rogers anymore if he did.
It's us vs the rest of the country
How long before the game on the 30th gets moved. I'll be in TO regardless and watching on tv.
If they win game six it'll be time to just pull the plug on Rogers and move out of the dome. Screw this BS already.
Started a new post but heard from Rob our Argo ticket rep and he said that it looks like if The Jays make the World Series the 30th and Nov 6th could be done for us. What a mess.
Your dream will come true...David (no playoff wins as a starter) Price will be starting for the Jays....signed, sealed and delivered. Jays won't have a lead all game and won't come back with their pen as Stroman and Estrada will be unavailable.
And this 29 year old rack of nerves in Price wants upwards of a 100 million dollars on a long term contract....please. sign Estrada and let Price beat up on crappy teams somewhere else.
