I wasn't clear on how Ware and Davis were being used. But hey, I might actually re-watch a happy game like this so I can figure that out.
Robinson was in the secondary instead of Agnew who played at linebacker. I think that Ware may have replaced Agnew who replaced Robinson after the latter was injured but I am not 100% sure of that. Davis rotated in a bit on the defensive line.

I need to start proofreading my posts. I meant to list the secondary as: Smith-Robinson-Gabriel-Suber-Carter.

It's only one game but the D did look quite effective last night. We got a good amount of pressure but weren't repeatedly burned by screens (as we were against Hamilton). Jones must have dropped some weight - he looked pretty quick for a guy listed at 242 lbs.

The Lions over thought on offense. The Argos are susceptible to the run, but they didn't seem to try to feature Harris and Logan. Putting the game in the hands of Glenn isn't a recipe for success.

I just heard about the Pinball incident, after seeing him on TV at our bench.
That is disgusting that people can do such a thing especially to the best human being I have ever met.
I think Cuthbert mentioned it during the game and it is not a bad idea to have Michael either as the new commish or in the head office in a high capacity role.

Yeah, that's how they beat us back in August, so it's a bit surprising they didn't run more. But our pass defense is still last in the league (I think), so it's not like anyone should hesitate to throw at us.

They moved Carter to half and Ware to corner after the Robinson injury.

I noticed that Waters was using a tee on his FG's last night. I don't believe he did that last year. Might this mean that he has given up on trying the NFL? Most kickers that still have NFL aspirations don't use a tee in the CFL. Medlock and Vanderjagt being 2 examples0

The Argos have the fourth best pass defence and seventh best against the run.

Yeah, the Achilles heel of that defense has been versus the run all year long. The secondary has been ok.

over all i liked what i saw .We are getting very close to being a solid 4 quarter team if we keep it up.That glenn fumble and it was, still kills me because if we got the points at that point it would of fired up the D and some of us here could of layed off the blood pressure medicine for the rest of the game.
