There are all crucial games from here on in! The Alouettes have been playing pretty good football over the last couple of weeks, but I question whether they have benefited from playing Ottawa, injury-riddled Calgary and Saskatchewan who is a mess without Durant. It will certainly be a good test for them.

I've said it before, and I hope it doesn't come back to haunt me, but I have no fear of the Als. As long as the Argos don't beat themselves, I see no way Montreal can compete with them.

I agree with this statement Angelo. So long as the Argos don't step on their own toes they should be able to handle Montreal. The Als coming off a very big and emotional home win now have to come to Toronto and deal with an Argos team that now has the taste of Ti-cat blood in their mouth. Throw in the extra time for the Argos to prepare and no Whitaker and I like the Boatmen's chances.

But that is the key Angelo, dumb penalties, turnovers, lack of execution and good old fashioned luck always come into play so for these reasons I am always very cautious heading into any game.

I honestly don't see Montreal as a challenge. I predict at least a 14 point victory.

Chris Schultz feels Montreal is a better team and will win Saturday....how dubious.

    Time to prove Schultzy wrong!

I said this in another thread .... Its Ricky and boys against a very good defense .... but I think our offense can rack up more points than JC against our D.... its the special teams that may be important here.

There has been a bit of roster movement this week. It looks like Mo Mann will take Gill's roster spot, Orhian Johnson has been re-activated, and Gillanders has been put on the IR. We finally have a genuine surfeit of useful receivers; I'm curious to see whether Mann or Brazill (or neither) is active on Saturday.

Thanks Wobbler, not sure how I misread that! My faith in Schultzy has been restored.

About 250 of us are taking the train from Montreal for this one. I even got time to go watch the impact knock TFC out of the playoffs. That in itself would make it a successful trip. Sorry T-Bone

To answer my own musing, it sounds like Mann will take Barnes' spot and Brazill will play in Watt's. That probably guarantees that Woodson will start at RB/SB.

I like Woodsons play lately. Another good CIS product.

While I am not a big Mo Mann fan, I would prefer him to Gill, especially if Brazill also plays as he can both catch the ball and return, although he, like Gill, has had bouts of fumibilitis.

We'll see soon whether this actually comes to pass, but I can't remember the last time we fielded an all-import/international receiving corps.

Brazill could do returns and back up as a receiver.

Looking forward to the game.... Chip Cox is interesting player to watch..... How will MTL' receivers match up against our defence.... if either team can establish a running game.... can Chad Owens continue to dominate..... not sure about MTL's quarter back..... Should be a interesting game..... Go ARRGOS !!!!!

BTW, the Als released QB Troy Smith today. As he has been released after the trading deadline, he cannot play for another CFL team this year. I believe that his salary is guaranteed for the remainder of the season however.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

Okay .... line of scrimmage .... Will our Oline hold?
I believe our D line can cause havoc for JC
