Agreed. You can bet that the Als have a vested interest in hosting the East final in front of a packed Olympic stadium and cashing in $$$$$.

I believe any playoff game that the Alouettes host will be at Percival Molson.

Still has to be worth at least $1 million dollars for them, but the fact that finishing first means you only have to win 1 game is the biggest motivation as to why they will try and win.

Not if history repeats itself. Has anything official been stated that the big O is off limits for Als playoff games?

They are better off playing at Molson Stadium this year as they simply won't have as much time to sell tickets for any playoff game that they are hosting as they have in the past. In past years, they have had between 4 and 6 weeks to sell the East Final because they had locked up first place so early. They will only have 1 to 2 weeks this year if they host a game.

Funny how a very sloopy win against Hamilton now has me feeling that we can do it. Even with the turnovers and penalties our D played well and we pulled it out. If the guys can keep Ray protected, cut down penalties and toss in a few wrinkles for a change we could beat Montreal.

Montreal and Hamilton still have a game against each other so 2 Wins might be enough to get us into the Playoffs.
I still think that we'll finish in second place.

I am also holding out hope. Montreal I'm sure would love to have the bye week. Hopefully, they don't achieve this with a loss of less than 7 points. Should the Argos win on Friday, I am a big Als fan on Saturday.

I'm sure the league would prefer Hamilton to beat Montreal. It would be pretty embarrassing if the Argos finished 2nd and couldn't sell more than 12k or so seats for an Eastern semi.
