Smith is usually good with play-by-play but I think that he is out of practice since he hasn't done that job since the first preseason game this year between Toronto and Winnipeg.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

I made an earlier posting on another board.
Smith is horrid and he has put me to sleep with his monotone delivery.
He makes Rod Black who at least shows some excitement look very good.
TSN please no more for Smith, as a matter of fact for me he is also a failure as studio host.
    Climie is much batter.

Yeah - for a second I thought we had reacquired Khalif!

Greenwood is now in at LB, but I'm not sure who he replaced.

Ha ha Ravi; as much as the Bombers have folded this season, their record this year is better than last year`s with all-american type thinkers running things and better than all sorts of other all good ole boys American run CFL teams of the past few decades. And done with a raw, new starting QB , injury problems, and rebuilding a weak roster.

How do you like the look of the RedBlacks this season with a mostly good ole boy all-american decision making clique in placeƉ

Oh oh, we didn't go for the jugular instead of playing not to lose.

Seem to have no answer for Montreal's D
Montreal seem to have no fear of the Argos throwing deep at all.

I just heard Matt on the broadcast say how Ray of the 21 completions only 5 have gone for more than 10 yards.
Therein lies the problem, Crompton attacks down field and does not pad the completion percentage while Ricky goes swing or check downs galore.
Horrible offensive scheme, on the road you have to go vertical some times, play to win not to lose especially for the game of the year.

Key late season match-up and you have Ricky Ray vs. Jonathan Crompton ... and the Argos are losing ???

= Something drastically wrong with that picture, and IMO it all comes down to coaching> play-book & play-calling = sad if you get out thunk by a dullard like Ned Flanders.

Done deal now - Als have pretty solid D but nothing that great IMO = this game is maybe typical of this CFL season a lot of the times - some decent CFL: defences made to look a lot better than they are by a whole lot of lame-o, predictable, same old look and boring CFL offences.

Argos feature very weak coaching IMO.

This is not all on Ray, failure of the entire team all three phases.
On top of which coach Milanovich has to take the credit here for the scheme, lack of adjustments at the half and the play calling all year.

But Richard was 26/35... what could possibly be the problem?

Credit to Montreal's D but from an Argo fans perspective really frustrating to see an offence refuse to try anything new or make any adjustments during the game, throw the f**king ball deep once in a while to at least attempt to keep the D honest. This game was there for the taking but once again the Argos clam up offensively and revert to the predictable "dink and dunk" BS.
They are masters of their own demise.

Ah yes most everyone here, save and except me and a few others, would rave at these stats and that's all it is stats of the swing passes which rarely produced results.
Come out all of you now, when some of us saw this nothing more than a smoke screen and for what it was all year.
Poor offensive execution and playing side to side football instead of vertical.

Milanovich seems no worse than an average HC. If that's damning him with faint praise, so be it.

Also, I don't recall hearing the term "offensive coordinator", or the individual employed in that capacity, mentioned once, anywhere, at all, this season !

When the Argos fail to make the postseason may all the changes required be made. Unfortunately, that'll be very tough to accomplish with the entire organization sitting, at best, in purgatory.

Based on how they have been playing for most of the season, the Argos do not deserve to be in the playoffs. We may miraculously get in but if we do I have no confidence we will be a serious threat to win two playoff games. Some of it is injuries to key players (which have really disrupted us all year long), some of it is poor recruiting, and some of it is poor scheming. Our defence is not even close to being championship-calibre; Montreal's is, tho.

The only potential saving grace out of all this is that Mtl will be highly motivated to take first place by beating Hamilton next week, and to maintain this roll they are on. However, even a loss to Ham by seven points or less will give them first place so we certainly cannot count on a Mtl win. Nor can we count on beating Ottawa; today we looked lost on both sides of the ball, and Ott has been close to wins the past few weeks.

It had little or nothing to do with the outcome today, but why was I not surprised that Marcus Thomas went out of the game with an early injury? That makes it three-for-three for him this season. I wager he has played fewer than 20 snaps total.

Well I guess you got your wish cause now he's done.
We'll see if Harris will stretch the defense in their last gasp of hope next week.

The Ti-Cats should be expected to put out a much more aggressive and effective effort against the Als than the Argos managed by playing Milanoball.

I would actually like to see Gale start next week if Ray cannot. Sounds like Ray feel pretty hard and may be concussed. But by putting Harris in, it clearly shows that he's the #2 guy.
