    RB???.....

    With Steele out should the Argo's grab Brandon Whitaker, whom is to be released by the Al's?

    The Argo running game looked very "un-powerful" in that last game

    I thought Josey showed some really nice moves; not sure he has any between the tackles pop though. What was the point of drafting Dillon Campbell - or is he injured or something.

    Running game may not be that important with this offence - looks like it is mostly dink& dunk / check-down stuff (maybe Owens or Durie break some big gains); just leave a big powerful blocking back like Dupuis in there to help with pass pro. Send in whoever at tailback for the once in awhile, predictable, same-old 1st down run play?

    I think you may be underestimating the importance of having a good running back in the Argos offence, although I can understand why you might make that assumption.
    They seemed to use the running game more last season than I can remember in the past few seasons.
    Whitaker might be a good pickup, although the first requirement is that he can protect for the QB.

    Whitaker must know how to protect the qb or he would not have been the feature back playing with Calvillo in Trestmans/Milanovich offence for so long...I don't think he is the same after his leg injury but he maybe an upgrade over the youngster McComb.

    IMO Whitaker is worth giving a shot, even recognizing he is probably not what he once was and the current ? situation at Argo RB.

    If either Kackart or Whitaker is healthy enough to regain previous form, i think this is a huge upgrade.

    Still wonder why Slaton didnt come back, i thought he improved all season last year.

    Slaton perhaps looked at being paid in $CAD (a 20% pay cut due to exchange rate) and figured it wasn't worth the wear and tear anymore.

    He may have also thought a good year up here would re-open some NFL doors, and when that didn't happen, decided to explore life after football.
