Love this signing. Darryl Surgent started 3 seasons at Lousiana-Lafayette, he's a KR/WR with great speed and hands, looks like a crowdpleasing-type character too.

Hopefully Surgent (and Harrison, for that matter) will benefit from their time on our 2014 PR and get off to a fast start in this year's camp.
He was in Chiefs TC last year with Dressler and released at the same time. I was kinda wondering if he resurface in the CFL. Heck I had no idea the Argos even had him on their practice roster.
Both guys (Harrison and Surgent) seem to have a lot of potential, hopefully they continue to bring guys in especially after witnessing a ridiculous amount of injuries last season.
Let's see how their skills translate to our game when camp opens and our quest for another World Championship begins.
Nice signing. Hopefully we can keep the turnover lower this season.
I was more interested in the signing of DL Tracy Robertson. If he can stay healthy, he may see more snaps than Marcus Thomas and Kyle Moore (does anyone have any info on his season ending injury?) did last season.
I saw some of his College replays back in the fall when they brought him in on the PR. Then when all the PR guys were released he wasn't among the few that were resigned, so thought he was History. Maybe he wanted to see if he could land a NFL tryout first before agreeing to a new contract. Whatever happened I am glad the Argos are giving him another look at training camp as he looks like he could be a good kick returner. Something we sure need if Owens can't be back there all the time.
I'd love to see him take over and shine as a kick returner, thereby freeing up Owens, whose not getting any younger, to focus on wide receiver. This would reduce his risk of injury and probably lengthen his career.
