Who's going to move to The Deadzone in 2016? At least there's a stadium. Late season games could including crude oil spill wrestling at the tailgate.

They could likely pull 8-10000 per game
So what happens if the Fort Mac games sells out at 20K...and the games at the dome only draw 15-18k?
MakeArgonautsGreatAgain, 2021
Quite possible, although 15-18k may be optimistic.
We may never see another 20k plus crowd while at the crap dome.
Once the Argos leave Crap Dome I'll never step foot into that joint again. Hopefully if the Argos are still alive, no Grey Cup will ever be played there again either. Screw Rogers!!
Why not Moncton instead of Harper's shit patch?
Housing should become quite cheap there soon, unless WTI price does an amazing recovery soon. Could be great for you too - I have a friend who lived there for a while and he complained that he needed to re-landscape every year, because the winter killed everything.
Not sure what you are referring to here. Harper was born in Toronto and is a resident of Calgary -- or are you referring to the oil sands which have been paying many of yours and my bills for a long time. In any case, we have enough trouble with the Argos without trying to add politics to the brew!
Moncton would cost a $million or so to get the stadium ready -- Fort Mac will be game ready, but very much in the wrong place.
One oar still in the water !
I'd still prefer to play the game at Varsity in front of 5 or 6 thousand Argos fans rather than Fort Mac where there would be mostly Eskimos fans. If the ownership worked to sell tickets to the rest of their games, they'd be able to afford a one time revenue loss at Varsity. The extra away game could also be the difference between hosting a playoff game or not, so in the end, the quick cash grab could turn around to cost them cash.
It's us vs the rest of the country
The Mac, guarantee profit for the Argos.
The gate for the Esks preseason game in Fort Mac has exceeded $1 million, with all the sideline seats costing $99 and soldout within 5 hours. With the Argos being the home team, they should reap the lion's share of the revenues...which could be used to help market the other 8-9 home games in Toronto. Considering the alternatives, the Fort Mac game will give the Argos fortunes a boost compared to a Varsity game (which would generate low revenues and be ridiculed by the media) or a Moncton game (with a $1 million+ expense). It's unfortunate loyal Argo fans will lose a June home game but that just might whet fan's appetite for the real home opener. I'll go out on a limb and predict a 25,000+ attendance for the Riders game...which could portend heightened interest and larger crowds for the Argos this season.
Market the rest of the home dates in Toronto? hahaha, More like deep pocket the funds way down in Braley's trousers. Toronto doesn't market at this point. Not sure if they have much staff to actually do squat.
Well, just purchased tickets for this game. Should be interesting.
The band's going to try to go. Well, some of us. Gotta be there, it's our home game! We might need to recruit from Fort McMurray high schools to fill out the ranks though.
Faster + Louder = Better
Cool, did you guys buy tickets through the Argonauts?
I e-mailed them and they provided a link.
