Good idea to post it again in this thread, I don't think anyone would have found it otherwise.

The extra away game could also be the difference between hosting a playoff game or not, so in the end, the quick cash grab could turn around to cost them cash.
I can just imagine Coach Milanovich's expression when he has to have his team travel 2,600 km for a home game....against a team team that is based in the same province. Things like this could very well aid Milo in not wanting to be a part of this organization.

The fans definitely deserve better, but yes, so do the good people in the Argo organization.

The Argos, IMO, are extremely fortunate that neither Barker nor Milanovich decided to leave this off-season. They both had every reason to. This franchise cannot afford the kind of uncertainty plaguing it much longer.

Agreed. I wouldn't have blamed either of them had they left but I'm grateful they stayed.

Agreed on both counts. Hopefully their patience is rewarded.

The Toronto Argos should be renamed the Canadian Gypsies.

Yes they can be like the Harlem Globetrotters and the opposition teams that play always on the road.

Funny you should say that. Last year I renounced myself as a Blue Jays fan because of all this malarkey. I regularly accuse Toronto of being the most treasonous sports city in the world, but I have a good reason, god damn it! Go Indians!

I know the media likes to harp on the Argos being nomads but TFC is playing on the road for over 2 months before their first home game. The BJ's also normally play a few weeks on the road before their season opener. But if the Argos are forced to delay their home opener because of the Pan-Am games...here we go again.

I'm not saying the negativity towards the Argos by the media is warranted but despite the delays neither TFC or the Jays are playing "home games" over 3000km away from their respective home stadiums.

    Guilty as charged.

When addressing a weasel, we need to channel our inner Gorilla.

Let us know when the Jays play two three-game home stands in nine weeks, equivalent to a stretch of the Argos' schedule last year.

That's it "Issues" Mcgee. Maybe if I cheered for a different team I'd watch baseball again. My issues with the game I used to love goes further then Rogers though. Strikes and Steroids lost me.

What are you talking about Paul? The Blue Jays haven't had a home game in October in 20 years.
