I'd still prefer to play the game at Varsity in front of 5 or 6 thousand Argos fans rather than Fort Mac where there would be mostly Eskimos fans. If the ownership worked to sell tickets to the rest of their games, they'd be able to afford a one time revenue loss at Varsity. The extra away game could also be the difference between hosting a playoff game or not, so in the end, the quick cash grab could turn around to cost them cash.

I can just imagine Coach Milanovich's expression when he has to have his team travel 2,600 km for a home game....against a team team that is based in the same province. Things like this could very well aid Milo in not wanting to be a part of this organization.

The Argos, IMO, are extremely fortunate that neither Barker nor Milanovich decided to leave this off-season. They both had every reason to. This franchise cannot afford the kind of uncertainty plaguing it much longer.

Agreed. I wouldn't have blamed either of them had they left but I'm grateful they stayed.

The BJ's also normally play a few weeks on the road before their season opener. But if the Argos are forced to delay their home opener because of the Pan-Am games...here we go again.

I'm not saying the negativity towards the Argos by the media is warranted but despite the delays neither TFC or the Jays are playing "home games" over 3000km away from their respective home stadiums.
