1990 BC 43 Toronto 68 -- Teams combine for most points in a CFL game
1990 Ham 39 Tor 60 -- Rickey Foggie with seven TD passes and 100 yards rushing
1991 Ham 18 Tor 41 -- Rocket's first game plus Blues Brother, Mariel, etc.
1991 Wpg 3 Tor 42 -- Argos dominate their rivals in the Eastern Final
    1994 Ham 36 Tor 39 -- Marvin Graves keys massive fourth-quarter comeback
1996 Ham 38 Tor 36 -- Untelevised shootout between Flutie and Dunigan
1996 Cal 22 Tor 23 -- Two long TD plays by Jet and Masotti in the fourth quarter
1997 Mtl 30 Tor 37 -- Late heroics by Pinball and Flutie to win Eastern Final
2002 Cal 32 Tor 33 -- Prefontaine kicks us into the playoffs on last play
2004 Ham 6 Tor 24 -- Kenny Wheaton runs the length of the field to wrap up Eastern Final victory
2005 Ham 0 Tor 48 -- Just because we beat the Ticats 48-0
    2005 Ham 11 Tor 34 -- Brian Diesbourg kicks for a million
2012 Ham 40 Tor 43 -- Argo fourth-stringers put Ticats out of the playoffs
2012 Edm 26 Tor 42 -- Ricky Ray runs in a TD en route to huge early lead
2012 Cal 22 Tor 35 -- Loudest crowd ever in 100th Grey Cup
A lot of good ones. I was trying to remember a game where Byron Parker picked off a pass in the final minute for a TD and comeback victory. Somebody help me out.

There were late game heroics in two consecutive weeks early that season. Jeff Johnson caught a TD pass from Cleo Lemon late in the game the week before to beat Calgary.

The road win against Winnipeg was close. I know Chad Owens ran back a missed FG in that game, but I do not remember if it was late in the game.

Now I remember, Byron picked it off about mid field and went down the Lions side line untouched less than a minute left in the game. In hind sight what was Wally thinking allowing a sideline pass late in the game on Parker's side.

To me those interception returns and Kick returns for TD's stand out more than normal passing and running big plays. Never forget Pinball's opening kickoff Playoff return against Montreal for a TD and some of Levingston's great returns.

The Owens missed FG return for a TD occurred in the 4th quarter of that Winnipeg game and IIRC gave the Argos a lead that they would not relinquish.

I think there was 2-3 minutes remaining in the game actually, but you could also very well be correct.

56 seconds left on the clock. Found it on You Tube. The camera showed a close up of Wally right after (he was not happy) and I'm sure the OC (Jacques ?) got his ears burned afterwards. lol

1989 Grey Cup between Ham and Sask. GREAT game!
Can't remember the exact game but the Blues Brothers and atmosphere with John Candy and the like there.
Hell that first year sitting in the first row of the 500 level in section 514 if I remember correctly. Those seats were amazing.
First pass I saw Flutie throw at Skydome. I thought he was crazy until his receiver turned and the ball hit him in his hands.

Other great memories include putting up 70 against Calgary. In 04 having my first trip back to TO after moving to Vancouver Island. The Argos had to reschedule a game which really screwed my trip. Keith Pelly was cool enough to get me and a buddy into a private box. The Argos just shelled Hamilton.
My favorite moment was watching 1Argoholic puking over the first row of the 200 level stright down on the poor S.O.B's sitting in the 100 level. Then yelling " it wasn't me" as he wiped his face on his coveralls . Good times

I just remember cheering loudly and that the Argos won on a late game or walk off field goal. There could have been 10 people or 50,000 people in attendance, it didn't matter (realistically there was probably about 22,000). It was just a great football game, and a great night to watch football. That is and will always be my favorite "in person" Skydome Argo moment.

Was that what happened? Thought it was a field goal, but I guess my memory is fading. But I do remember it being a pretty good football game, especially the ending, and well, that's all that matters. But you are right, it was actually an important game since it was divisional, but it was still earlier in the season, and didn't seem all that important at the time.

    1. Volunteering for the week of Grey Cup 100, and taking my family to The Game - everything about that week from the Sears Grey Cup shop, to the Stampeders horse visiting downtown, the Canada Post CFL display in the Atrium on Bay, singing over Burton Cumming's botched anthem, the blanket media coverage, and the CN Tower in double blue. One of the best days in Argonaut history.
    2. Andre Durie's first touchdown as an Argonaut.
    3. Mid 2000's Damon Allen engineers the win in the final 2 minutes against the Riders.
    4. November 2012, Hamilton 40 Toronto 43 - Burris and Ray. I actually felt bad for the sobbing TiCat's fan in the row behind.
    5. While the Sky Dome was being constructed in the late 80's, a friend and I entered the site after midnight. We walked to the fence edge of the excavation and looked down into that huge hole.

torontois I like your number 5. It reminds me of how pumped the whole region was to have Skydome built. Somehow it's become a shite hole in most peoples eyes. If it wasn't for Rogers treatment of the Argos I'd want to stay. I for one love the location and the venue. Wait until late Oct when the weather sucks along the lake shore during an Argo game at BMO. We've actually had some serious weather lately that would suck at an outdoor stadium. It was was it is at this point.

As a teen and into my 20's i had NO issue sitting at the EX, no matter the weather, now turning 50, i'd be far less excited to sit in the cold-wet in an outdoor stadium.

I LOVED the SKYDOME.... rogers center like its owners, just SUCKS

I've never had a problem where I sit at the dome, but I hate sitting in a more than half empty stadium. I have half-joked recently that I will really miss having an entire section to myself. I can't wait for the move..bring on the elements..at least the fans will be covered.

although of little consequence in the grand scheme of things can't forget Ricky Ray's bomb to Chad Owens last year to seal the last second win over the ticats. Was one of the more entertaining walks out of the stadium (including the odd ticat fan who left early and was still sure they had won hahahah)
