Its great that this one will be on espn3 - much simpler for me than trying to find a P2P TSN feed.

I'm guessing that Harris will get a full half this time.

I doubt I will even attempt the TSN.ca feed after Tuesday nights debocle.

This week's TSN feed wasn't supposed to happen at all - it was a last minute bonus. Don't judge too harshly. Next week's game has been scheduled on TSN for a while, and ESPN will just be rebroadcasting the TSN feed. It should be the real deal (with audio, even!)

Tanner Marsh won't be playing against the Argos. He's been placed on the six game injured list due to a severely sprained knee.

I think if the starters play the first half or so, the Argonauts should win this game. Montreal just doesn't scare me at all anymore, haven't since Trestman left. With Crompton as their starter at least for now and a rapidly aging team, the Als could be in for a long season.

They still have a great defence, and I think Crompton will be a lot better this year with the additional game experience, and the much heavier amount of reps he is getting as the #1 in TC. As long as their receivers haven't all hit the wall at once, they will still be a good team.
It's us vs the rest of the country

I looking forward to see Canadian QB Brandon Bridge play. I am pulling for him to make their roster.

Im hoping that Bridge is fully committed to the CFL, as he wasnt overly positive about the league prior to his signing with the AL`s

Maybe the fact he didn't get drafted or even signed as a free agent gave him an attitude adjustment.

And he got a CFL good ole wake-up call when he wasn\t on their early top prospects lists despite the fact that pretty well all other top Canadian US college guys always are high on that list.

I hope the Argos use McPherson, even if with a simplified playbook since he has been with the team for such a short time, since players tend to always make a special effort against their old teams.

Here's a report on Jonathan Crompton from the Als training camp that includes the claim that Crompton-Giguere the next CFL star duo. I'm skeptical to say the least. This game may provide some evidence on whether there is any merit to this.

With only a few days left before the end of training camp, the competition is stronger than ever within the team. Every player wants to win his position - which is far from easy.
Competition is particularly fierce for the quarterback position: Jonathan Crompton, Brandon Bridge, Rakeem Cato and Dan LeFevour are all fighting for this position. Head coach Tom Higgins said repeatedly during the offseason that he had confidence in Crompton for quarterback.
Head coach Tom Higgins thinks a quarterback should be focused on winning rather than other statistics.
However, as in previous years, we have demonstrated that a starting job is never guaranteed. Especially at quarterback where the line is so thin between excellent and good. Crompton, who is reputed to be unshakably calm, knows what to do to keep his post: "continue to build on the solid foundation of 2014". Indeed, in 2014, Crompton brought the team record from 1-7 to 9-9. When all hopes were almost lost, this rise carried the Alouettes to the playoffs.
The man known for having the most beautiful hair in the CFL told us he was happy to have set foot on the football field last Saturday and he's already looking forward to the second pre-season game Thursday at McGill Stadium. Moreover, he assured us that following the victory of the first exhibition game, the atmosphere within the team is "excellent."
What about the receivers? Many claim that Crompton / Giguère is the next star duo CFL.

I should wait to see how well our new guys perform in tonight's game, but I'm actually (still) quite optimistic about this season. Regardless of who ends up making the final roster, it seems that the talent level at our weakest positions last year (receiver, secondary) will be improved. We're probably also better on the DL, and I don't think we've gotten worse anywhere. The temporary absences of Ray and Steele will be felt, but we should be able to compensate. I think we'll be 2-1 heading into the Bye week.

I will miss most of the game(stupid date night with my wife)....anyway, look forward to seeing who makes the D-line this year...how has Donte Moch been doing in camp? I know Barker waited a long time to sign him.
