All true, but the Argos need all the media attention they can muster. So where in other places; it wouldn't be tolerated, you can bet that Milanovich will be asked to tolerate it.
Not a problem as both Barker and Milanovich are both naturals at being both diplomatic and straight forward without patronizing or being phonies. They know how to make a point. Important for Toronto pro coaches.

And on that point; credit to Frankie Z. who has been a stalwart in media for the Argo's. One of the very few, when there used to be so MANY.

I can't believe that he actually wrote this statement. He is by far the king of the incompetent and ill-informed, lacking football knowledge of a beat writer.

I never minded Frank. To top it all of he used to take transit all the way to Erindale as he didn't drive. Perhaps he does now. Always a funny and approachable guy. That was back in the day where Perry Lefko was covering the team as well.

Yah Frank is ok. Anybody writing some news about the Argos is ok in my books. Perry was good to. This Rush guy has been writing a bit for the Star. Apparently he played a bit of Football and was in a CFL Camp years ago, so he know a little of what he is talking about. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I was always taught that when you are pointing a finger at someone to just remember there are three pointing back at you.

I found it odd that he called the other media members out as well but I just felt that as someone who has faithfully reported on the team that he was just frustrated with the fair weather media. Good on him.

If anyone has bothered to pay attention, the Argos have carefully stated how they won’t jeopardize Ray as he returns from off-season shoulder surgery.
There was no way, under any circumstance, that Ray would be ready for opening night and that the logical, prudent option was to place him on the injured list and then pull him off it before the six-week window if he was ready to play pain-free."

Honestly, nothing new there. Just watch Milo's post practice media session on the Argos website. Zicarrelli as usual, is just paraphrasing, and acting as though it is his own thoughts.

Based on how he wrote 100 days in a row about the argos practice facility last season, I guess we can get ready for a steady diet diet of "all media except me are stupid" from Frank.

I don't mind frank he looks to be a good guy his work with the sun needs to improve. If I was to give a letter grade I would give him a d- for his work but give a b for his effort. At least frank shows up to the practices and tries to do work at the best of his abilitys which is saying a lot compare to current owner and CEO of this team.

Angelo, you seem to be in the know. Is it your opinion that FZ is a passionate Argo/CFL fan?, or just a reporter doing his gig?

To me an Argonews, is good news, but IMO Curtis Rush seems to write with more passion about the team, while FZ is reporting in black & white.
