It's time to make predictions for the regular season. To start it off here is TSN's outlook for the West.

Here are my predictions:
East
1. Argos - Definitely wouldn't be first in the West but problems on other Eastern teams means IMO Argos have a good chance at first because Harris is looking good and Ray will be available later hopefully, defence looking good
2. Hamilton - Collaros is coming into his own, defence is solid
3. Montreal - Lots of change in personnel, Crompton comes down to Earth as teams now know his skill set
4. Ottawa - definitely improved, but still too many holes; Burris well past his best before date and backups pitiful but big improvement at receiver
West
1. Calgary - who else? Have more depth virtually everywhere and best currently healthy qb/backup combo for injuries
2. Edmonton - Chris Jones as always will have a fierce defence, Reilly has grit and ability - a lot will depend on how Canadian first string receivers come through
3. Saskatchewan - depends on how healthy Durant is, especially with Sunseri gone (not great but experienced backup), but still have good players at many skilled positions, especially receiver
4. Winnipeg - O'Shea's coaching and Willy's starter exprience Winnipeg should avoid last season's nose dive after a good start
5. BC - never count a Buono team out but too much depends on Lulay's health, which is highly questionable, as well as other question marks on defence

Teams win and teams lose and the last one standing at the end will be The Calgary Stampeders and my wife will be very happy. Edmonton will give them a run but it's Calgary's turn to be the best team in Alberta and once again in Canada.
Toronto will be in tough without Ray for so long.
East
Hamilton-class of the east
Toronto-league wide dark horse
Ottawa-minor improvement but miss playoffs
Montreal-will suck
West
Calgary-class of the league
Edmonton-defence defence defence
Winnipeg-vastly improved
Saskatchewan-9-9 crossover
B.C- rebuild mode
Grey Cup Champs- Edmonton
East
Toronto
With or without Ray (who knows when he'll be back? the page is turning...). Barker recruited, Harris performs, Swayze kicks. Schedule is the potential wet blanket.
Hamilton
Injury-riddled out of the gate. Never as good as I think they'll be, but good enough for second place. Quality QB.
Montreal
Unless one of the youngsters plays, and plays like Chuck Ealey, the Als don't have a starting QB. Not sold on aging receivers (SJ excepted). Otherwise, there is some talent.
Ottawa
Not necessarily much at the most important position. I'll believe Ottawa can win with any regularity when I see such success.
West
Calgary
The Stamps both pass and run the ball... take note Argos. (And it's not simply all about Cornish.)
Edmonton
Not much to not like.
Saskatchewan
Should finish just ahead of the Bombers. Maybe.
Winnipeg
Getting better.
B.C
Getting worse. Injury-prone (if he's even fully recovered) QB. Rebuilding, wins will be tough to find.
Grey Cup - Toronto (If Toronto gets there, and I think the team will, Toronto is capable of winning the Cup. Calgary has to get by Edmonton first.)
(I initially picked Calgary, but WTF, I'm all in... Toronto)
