I really hope that Cody Fajardo works out. Who doesn't want a 6'2" qb who can pass and run well. Plenty of good young qb's being found in the CFL and it was just a few years back when everyone was worried that qb pickings were slim in this league.
Ray stays to help mentor the young guys and still has plenty in the tank plus he's well rested.

I think the amount of quality QB's is improving because you see less old school offences even being run in the NCAA these days. QB's are more "pro ready" as a result of this.

We did some shuffling at LB yesterday.
Jonathan Truman was signed to the PR, Bonner was activated from the PR, and Rolle was 6-gamed. I'm guessing that Rolle is legitimately hurt, but it is possible that we just needed to create a PR spot for Truman.

The team's website has not kept up with this. Rolle is still showing on active, Bonner and Truman both on PR. And Alix is showing on PR. And the roster shows only 45 names instead of 46. Guess we'll have to wait for the depth chart to sort out who's in and out.

I don't think anyone is saying he's indispensable, OV, but Rolle has been pretty productive on teams (#3 on the team in STT, albeit well behind tackling-machine Jones).

Haven't had a chance to see many games live, obviously, but what I have seen is a guy who consistently causes problems for the opposing team on specials. Kind of like Jones did last season, altho not quite at that level. Definitely not easy to replace.

I read somewhere that someone else would punt immediately after the Als game because Palardy is only under contract to place kick. I'm guessing a K/P gets paid more than just a K but it sure less than having to pay both a K and P. Originally Posted by gilthethrill

Makes no sense. Any player on a roster should be available to do whatever is asked of them (if they are capable), and contract status should have nothing to do with it. Originally Posted by ArgoGabe22
