yeah - I don\t really watch Argo games at all, so I've missed Rolle being this irreplaceable superstar on STs; your reference to Plesius is laughable but predictable for your types - some no account NI who obviously isn't near as good as Rolle because a gob probably told you so ?
According to Curtis Rush the Argos didn't want to take anyone off the PR to make room for Pfeffer, yet Milanovich in another article stated that they would have loved to have kept him, but it was out of their hands, implying that it was due to budgetary restraints. To be honest considering the kicking carousel we're seeing now, I'm going with the former, it seems as though Milo & Barker thought that Waters was going to come back healthy and saw no point in keeping Pfeffer around.
Maybe Palardy wants more money in his deal if he has to do all three jobs ?
In the case of Justin Palardy, I am guessing that the Argos just don't have confidence in him as a punter. I don't think that Milanovich means that they can't use him as a punter because of his salary as he did punt once on Sunday.

What's Hank Ilesic up to

GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
At this point, I am not sure who the Argos could get. Are there any punters who played in the CIS or at the junior level recently who could be capable at the CFL level? Otherwise, they either have to go with a free agent import - and Michael Palardy is currently trying out with Tampa - or have Justin Palardy do all of the kicking this week at least.

CFL transactions states K/P Brett Lauthier, who was recently released from Saskatchewans PR, was signed by the Argos yesterday. Nothing on the Argo site as of yet.
Boy would Ronnie look good now, the Argos coaching staff and management could actually think about other things instead of bringing in another kicker every week.
How's Vince Agnew, the guy I thought should of got the axe in order to keep Pfeffer under contract doing? Didn't notice him at all against Montreal and Ottawa in last 2 games.
At first I wondered if they had an agreement with Michael Palardy where they would release him if he had a shot to go back to the NFL. If they didn't release him for that reason and instead did so for ratio reasons like what has been reported, I agree that it was a bad move.
All we can hope for then is that he has been getting lots of training since that time and is now an improved punter. Pfeffer was not a decent punter until his final year of CIS ball and managed to improve that part of his game over time.

Someone mentioned that Michael Palardy had a tryout for the Buccaneers so Ravi's theory might hold some water. Did having Palardy though prevent the Argos from getting both Hazelton and Spencer in the lineup?
