Like our chances as Glenn seems to underachieve against us.

Edmonton didn't challenge us on the ground all that much, but I think we can expect Saskatchewan to try harder. It'll be a nice chance to see if we can stop a power run game. I don't see any reason to be especially worried about it, but the proof is in the pudding...

Need to get Glenn's cage rattled early. Once he starts hearing footsteps it's just a matter of time until he makes game-breaking mistakes.

Conversely, i hope that our O-Line has another strong game and allows Harris the time he needs to pick apart the Rider D...

It is awfully smoky in Regina today. That could be a factor for both teams on Sunday.

The absence of Durant and several Canadians for the Roughriders couldn't come at a better time for the Argos.

This should be the Argos to win. The smoke could also affect breathing, as well as visibility.

As of now they're recommending that people don't exercise outside so I'm not sure how that's gonna effect the game.

Scared of Kevin Glenn (LOL); the Riders could decide to load up on the run game - with their 2 big power backs (Messam & Allen) - and that might provide a challenge to the Argos D ... BUT - they won't - they have clueless Chappy as their OC and that means default to mostly pass, and Glenn is as mediocre as it gets there - though he has had plenty of big CFL passing games = who knows but the Argos D seemed pretty good against the pass for the most part last game.

It's one time that the players would sure be happier playing in the Dome. Better for the fans too.

I don't know Chaps showed the last game that the offence is refreshingly balanced. If the Argos win it will because Whitaker can run at will and Harris can sip on a beer while deciding who to throw to because our front seven as a whole is questionable...and that's putting it politely.

Or it could have been just 1 bad game. The Bombers started like a house on fire last year too (As us Argos fans painfully remember), so it's way too early to get an overall good synopsis on the team.
It's us vs the rest of the country

I don't care who is playing QB, wins in Regina are tough to come by, but if the Argos play like week one, there is a good chance.

Wins in Regina can be tough to come by but the Argos have generally played pretty well there in recent years with the exception of last season when their receiving corps was injured.

The Argos have been a solid road team in general for the last 10 or 12 years, the Bart Andrus years notwithstanding.

Last year in our Regina game the corps was Mann-Chiles-Coombs-Adams-Watt. Not our worst group of the year (for my money, that was Mann-Sinkfield-Gill-Adams-Watt against the Bombers), but pretty poor. Night and day difference this year.

Owens is playing lights out along some of those young guys like Gurley. You're right...night and day.

Riders are still a really solid team, let's keep things in perspective, Toronto played very well last week but consistency will be the key with them in the first few games.
I'm expecting a nail biter this week!

I hope the air quality improves as this game could be hell for everyone involved. One year on Vancouver Island we had faint smoke smells from massive fires on the mainland and in Port Credit one year you could smell smoke from Quebec fires. Those were bad enough but it looks pretty crappy in Regina as of yesterday.

The city has for the most part not seen the sun for a few days.
