New uniforms that I would like to see next year

    Argo uniforms.jpgArgo Day to Day.jpg

A guy on the internet can come up with great looking uniforms. Why can't the experts at Reebok (or the next group) do the same?

    See the other teams here.

Love those unis except for the monochrome idea (blue-on-blue/white-on-white). Flip the pants and they would be fantastic. Especially love the multicoloured helmet.

What's this all about? Was this a pitch from Nike? It says 2015. Is Adidas still in the running for next year?

Pride jerseys and pants, but flip the pant colours like Paul said, but add the Primary boat logo helmet. Also blue piping around letters.

SnowRogue, that logo looks fantastic. If you want the Argos to see it, post it to Instagram, tagging @torontoargos. Many players and personnel follow them.

Thanks for the info ArgoZ, however with the exception of Google+ (due to having a gmail account) and having the @CFL_News twitter feed bookmarked, I don't use social media. So I figure I'll try and send some emails out to the current Argos Brass as well as MLSE, Bell, and Tanenbaum's Kilmer Group. Also going to try and see if Dale Lastman can be reached in some way.

For anyone that does have social media (instagram, twitter, facebook, tumblr), hopefully the images get out there for people to see.

The creator of the jerseys is on a fantasy sport site. So at the start of his thread he mentions
"* Not actually, as this is a concept. Please don’t go to Nike demanding CFL gear."

Some good thoughts there, and some would be great to be seen in action. Actually, I like them all except tor the stripes that taper down to a point both on the pants and the sweaters ( yeah, I still call them sweaters) -- and just to prove , he likes that concept the designer has even used it for the waves on the 'boat logo'.

The only concept that left me laughing ( and shaking my head) was the helmets with the stripes around them - I've never seen anything that looked so much like a motorcycle traffic cops helmet - particularly those in Asia.
One oar still in the water !

I'd just like the exact 1983 uniforms back.

1983 and 1991 uniforms were both classics, would be happy with the 91 version with the Boat Logo on the helmet.

If only that logo and logo on helmet could become a reality I would be extremely happy. I like it even better than the 80s football boat logo, due to it being primarily blue. The Argos would have the best looking helmets in football with those, IMHO.

I love the logo but it would work only on a white helmet since it is primarily Cambridge Blue and is piped by Oxford Blue.

Nothing beats the current A with the bolts around it. It's unique but not over the top at all. I find the boat logo looks like a wacky acid trip.

The boat logo waxes nostalgic with a good percentage of the fanbase so its a valid option with any new logo design. You can be the richest team in sports, but you can't buy the history the Argos have.

The current logo is outlined in dark blue. White piping is currently added to the logo for the blue helmets, like it was with the boat logo in the pictures above. The team is due for a new set of blue helmets. They have had these old Riddell models longer than any team in the league.

I'm glad you mentioned this, one of the first things I did when I saw the boat logo on the helmet was check to see if there was white piping around the boat like there is with the current logo. Seems as though some aren't even aware that white piping is on our current logo/helmet combo and the boat logo retros we saw also had white piping around the boat.

I'm afraid I've got to disagree on this.
The Argonauts boat logo has to be the most ingenious sports logo out there.
The fact that it has existed for so many decades (in various forms) simply emphasizes how far ahead of its time it was.
I don't think any current sports marketing firm could come up with something so appropriate and unique.

And I think this guy's proposed update to the boat logo is brilliant.
I hope the Argos take a serious look at it.
