Edmonton Rush of the NLL moving to Sask

Sad really, the Rush just won the NLL's Champions Cup a couple of months ago and finally started showing that the fanbase had potential and this happens. At the same time though, it's not surprising, Bruce Urban (Owner) was complaining to the media during the playoffs that the City was doing nothing to help them secure a lease in Edmonton and was none to happy about the Katz Group having full power over at the new Rogers Place. What bothers me the most is that the Katz Group has looked into buying the Rush multiple times at offers ranging from $2 million - $1, while the $1 is insulting and while $2 million is a little undervalued (Expansion fees in the NLL are around $3 million and the Rochester Knighthawks were sold to Curt Styres for $5.575 million), I always hoped that something could have been worked out.

Sounds as though the Katz Group are trying to become the Flames LP and MLSE of Edmonton, as they currently own the WHL Oil Kings and NHL Oilers, along with looking into buying the Rush and have even made inquires about the Eskimos. Hopefully the Katz Group can speak with the NLL and bring in an expansion franchise back to Edmonton. Lacrosse is such a great game, it's actually starting to grow again here in Canada and for a time was growing rapidly (% wise) in the U.S.A.
