I'm so sick of Black going on and on about every friggin guy who's had a cup of coffee in an NFL dressing room. Black and Suiter can just go away.

Looks like Hamilton may have a few key players returning from injury on Monday...the likes of Norwood & Tasker come to mind. On our side, not sure if Waters is back but I hope Brandon Underwood & DL Tracey Robertson returns to help with Gable. When is the last time a CFL expert has picked the Argos to win a game?
I think the target for Gabriel was always right around here. Although, it might have been the home opener.
TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL CLUB
GREY CUP CHAMPIONS: 1914, 1921, 1933, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1950, 1952, 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2012, 2017, 2022
I will stick with the sentiment I expressed in a rather poorly-phrased previous post: let's see our team impose its will on the Tabbies, not the other way around.
The only weapon the Ti-Cats have that the Argos do not is Speedy B. Do not simply loft deep kicks in his direction or you will be burned.
While I realize that the ratio is invariably a damper, I wish the Argos could come up with some reasonable facsimile of Banks. Owens, for example, should not be returning kicks (I suspect most here would agree), and in any case the Argos should be able get superior results from a specialist.
I'm really hoping the Argos can win this game, and that Harris can keep up the good play. I'd hate to see the bandwagan Harris fans turn against him if he loses head to head against ZC.

The battle of the Pan Am homeless will be a challenge for the still road team Argos. However, Barker insists the team is not road weary, in part because their winning and in part because the team has so many rookies.
http://www.thestarphoenix.com/sports...384/story.html"We have guys that don't know any different. All they know is playing on the road," Barker said. ...
The Argos' rookies, meanwhile, who have yet to play within driving distance of their homes, will get to debut in front of their fans and their most vociferous rivals. Among Toronto's newcomers are three receivers - Kevin Elliott, Gurley and Hazelton - who have combined for 46 catches and seven touchdowns. Rookie Devin Smith leads the team with two interceptions. AJ Jefferson returned another pick 100 yards for a score against the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Week 2. "They're full of piss and vinegar - they just want to play," Barker said. "They'll play in the parking lot, anywhere. Take them up to the Northwest Territories and they'll play up there. When you're dealing with young players, they're excited to be up here and playing."
Can you imagine coming to a new country and league and being on the road for weeks. These guys have done great adjusting to Canada, our game, you name it. Who knows if they've even found suitable places to live.
I'm just hoping TSN promotes this game hard all weekend on Sportscentre. I believe Harris and Collaras could put on a real show and TSN could really promote the Young Gun rivalry or the rivalry between two competing ex protégés. With the Jays playing in the afternoon, people will be searching for something to watch on their holiday Monday. I think this game could get a lot of casual fans attention and hopefully some new ones too. I'll be promoting the game on Facebook on Monday too
The Argos are lucky this year in that they will be facing teams coming a bye week only once.
http://www.calgarysun.com/2015/07/30...g-off-bye-weekBYE-WEEK BLUES
Number of opponents teams face coming off bye weeks
Ottawa RedBlacks 5
Calgary Stampeders 4
Montreal Alouettes 3
B.C. Lions 2
Winnipeg Blue Bombers 1
Edmonton Eskimos 1
Saskatchewan Roughriders 1
Toronto Argonauts 1
Hamilton Tiger-Cats 0
I don't think that stat is nearly as important as number of games on short weeks. The Argos are full of those and I'm sure they would happily trade to play more teams coming of a bye week in order to get decent time between games. Bottom line is they play a lot of games against teams that are more rested than they are.
Thanks Rogers.
LMFAO....I really should stop reading this stuff in the office. Everyone looks over when they hear me laughing. Not a good career move.

Collaros is getting his big weapons back now. With Gable back I expect the Cats to smoke the Argos Monday. Unfortunately the Cats will not fold in the second half.
It's important to score first or at least answer if the Cats score first, to take the crowd out of the game.
