Global News did a story tonight about the delays in getting fans into the stadium. Both Chris Rudge and Lori Bursey were interviewed. Rogers officials did not respond to interview requests.

Hey paulwood before you start up a petition to get statues of Braley and rudge at bmo field don't you think that if we had a different CEO then rudge ie.keith pelley,Tim lewike that there would have been negotiations through out the years to have a better working relationship with the people from Rogers? Sure Rogers could have acted better and not been jerks but have you ever had the thought that maybe Rogers just got sick and tired of Braleys cheapskate ways and just said screw them? Don't you think that it could have been braleys choosing to tell Rogers to not hire so many workers on game day so the cheapskate can save a couple of extra bucks for himself? Is it not Chris rudge job to look after game day operations to know what type of crowd they are to get and to talk to Rogers on how they can handle it? These metal doctors have been at skydome for months it is inexcusable for these two morons to make up excuses to what happened on game day.

You can slam Braley all you want..I know I have. But the amount of crap you throw towards Rudge is totally unjustified. Comparing Lieweke to Rudge is apples to oranges. The group Lieweke represents either owns or manages the venues their teams play in. That gives him a lot more power in this type of situation to do what is best for their fans. Rudge doesn't have that luxury. I really have no clue what you expect of Rudge. IMO, his main responsibility was to help broker a deal to sell the team. That is done. As for Pelley, we will never know. He bolted and went on to work for the group that is responsible for all this crap the Argos have to put up with. If you want to look at him as some sort of God, than by all means go ahead.

Personally, I think you really show lack of creativity or intelligence to keep posting the same shit over and over again.

Personally I had to wait around 40 minutes to get in. Got to gate 4 at 6:35 and missed the first 6 minutes of the game.
Does anyone know if all the gates were open ?

I believe they were just all understaffed. I don't think they had all the metal detectors out either as they have to wheel out and set those up and then wheel them back in after.

Gate 12 (West side 200 level) was a fairly quick lineup (like a minute or two). Gate 11 (west side 100 level) had a fairly long line but it seemed to be a lot shorter than the line at Gate 5.

That's sucks. I'm on the visitor side of the 200 level, and it only took me about 10 minutes to get in through gate 12, and I arrived about the same time as you.

Listening to AAA this week, Mike Hogan, most likely the most level headed media guy in Toronto, wondered how RC could get fans at a sold Jays game can get to their seats on time, but yet a crowd of 20 thousand at an Argo game had terrible delays.

Yesterday's Milton newspaper (August 13th) has the same ad for the Argo game on August 8th as it did last week.

Braley and Rudge seem to have more respect for the team than a few of the previous owners ....... But the ultimate disrespect comes from rogers group ..... The Argos and the CFL are a Canadian institution and the shannanigans the rogers group pull, show the most utter disrespect for our team and league. No matter what you say , it was good of Rudge to send the letter, even if the landlord just spits on it . Perhaps he will stand up to them more often .... Now that it is in the last season...... And we are already expecting to be turfed out in October at some point.
I am desperately waiting for the end of the Skydome under rogers management to end. Perhaps our finale there could include putting an Argo jersey on the rogers statue outside ..... Telling him to stick it .... Show them the same disrespect.

This is very true, I was at the Jays game this past Thursday for a near sellout crowd (almost 50k) and basically no delays, same thought went through my head as well, answer is pretty simple.
