The Argos should win, but still nervous about this game.

Riders won't go winless this year, but they will go 0-7. Load the box, make Smith beat you with his arm.

I think the Argos will blow the Riders out, which will make it that much easier for Taman to get the ok from the board to let Chamblin go.

Well were petrified to run the ball so loading the box is a good strategy for a fairly easy win.

Do you realize that you sound like a Ti-cats fan?

    That's not a good thing.

Expect the unexpected, this is the CFL after all.
Have watched and seen many Argonaut games (in my 40+ years watching) that should be "sure" wins turn into nail biters and or losses.
We have an extremely young team at many key positions so they shouldn't be looking past anyone at this point!!

The Argos will win in a cakewalk.
With coach Chamblin getting fired by the Riders.

No he doesn't. He used more than 2 words in that sentence. That automatically makes him better, more original and literate than a Ti-Cat fan. He also showers.

To be honest I've taken loads of crap over the years for being an Argonaut fan. My first 40 years were spent in Mississauga. When personalized plates came out I got 1Argo (have it back on my truck now) and folks always had to comment, mostly crap. So it pisses me off when a team I once loved The Jays gets treated like gold when they have done squat in years and their money grubbing owners Rogers act like the Argos don't exist. I lost the love of the Jays and baseball so I have no issues with slamming them. If that sounds like a Ticat fan then so be it.

FZ reports that Keeping is questionable, Owens has an ankle injury, and Coombs had concussion-like symptoms on Monday. I don't think we should expect any of them to play this week.

No major problems there, IMO. We know what to do without Keeping, Owens looks like a guy who might benefit from a game or two off, and although Coombs has been a pretty good returner he hasn't done much on offense.

If Owens can't go, My thinking is Diontae Spencer will be a go. Since he is a kick returner, I can also see either Kackert of Steele (if healthy) replacing Josey on the game day roster. Chris Bauman may have an opportunity to check in if Coombs is a no go.

    I hear ya.
FYI, I am not much of a baseball fan (too slow and boring for me), and I have no love for Rogers when it comes to their sports endeavours.
I just approach it as "we are better than them", so I try not to lower myself to their abysmally low level of conduct.

I have the same sentiment toward the TFC fans about the Argos moving to BMO Field. I actually agree about why they are upset, but dumping all over the Argos and the CFL is beyond acceptable.
Btw, has anyone heard ANY complaints from TFC fans about the THREE rugby games played at BMO Field last Wednesday?
I would think the turf would be absolutely unplayable for tonight's TFC match after that, based on what TFC fans have complained about the Argos "ruining" the turf. Strangely, I haven't heard any complaints. Hmm...

Spencer is a logical sub, but with the short week (and only one practice day) I think we'll try to avoid making too many other changes. I bet Stala will play in Coombs' spot, and that although we'll need to add another National it'll be Gabriel or Black coming off the IR.

OT but the more I see the Argos wearing the all white, the more I want to see it officially changed. It just looks so sharp IMO.
