Sounds like Drew Willy will probably be out for this game.

Similar game as this past week, a struggling opponent without their starting QB, hopefully Toronto puts together a solid performance and comes out strong so we can actually relax and enjoy the game!!

Waiting to hear Drew Willy's status. It goes without saying that much depends on it.

Sounds like Robert Marve, a qb who could give the Argo D trouble with his scrambling, has been elevated to #2over Brian (no TD passes as a pro) Brohm. If Willy can't go, which I doubt he will, I was hoping to face Brohm instead of Marve. Regardless, Winnipeg has a poor record at IGF and are starting to reel a bit. Argos should take this one.

I agree what facing Marve would worry me more than facing Brohm given the former's scrambling ability which is the type of QB the Argos have struggled mightily with this year. The Blue Bombers may also be without Paris Cotton and Darvin "I never showed this level of production in Toronto" Adams on Friday. I don't know the status of any of the Argo injuries, but Kevin Elliott is a concern given the receiving corps is already banged up.

LOL re Darvin Adams....Elliott is most like out due to Bracenridges WWF Flying Elbow.....I think Kenny Shaw who has been with the team all year could fill in, or if ratio problems arise, perhaps Adjei moves outside?

Can't wait to see Kenny Shaw get some action, he's going to fit right in, and he may even have better hands than Elliott.

It would be nice if either Matt Black or Jermaine Gabriel could return to the lineup so we can start a NAT at Safety.

I think there is a good chance of Owens being back this week.

As a Ticat fan, I know I should cheer the Bombers, but I'm kind of enjoying the ass-whoopin' the East has been laying on the West this year. Let's keep it up!

Willy is officially out for several weeks, so we can forget about him. Brohm is expected to start.

I do like our chances against Brohm, however, we thought that Brett Smith would be a walk in the park and he wasn't.

Bob Irving has been heavily implying that Marve will get the start.
If Brohm starts it's a guaranteed win for the Argos, if Marve starts it's a toss up, but I'd still give the edge to the Argos.

Seems a bit reckless to throw your #3 guy in on a short week, but I think we'll be fine either way. Neither Brohm nor Marve has been particularly impressive.

Blue Bomber fans have been screaming for Marve since Willy went down in that 2nd game versus the Tiger-Cats. Brohm has simply looked awful in any of is appearances for the Blue Bombers.

Not that I want to defend Brohm, but if the Bombers run their practices the way the Argos do (and I'm guessing most teams do now that they have reduced practice time after the last CBA), then the back-up get absolutely ZERO scrimmage reps. It is difficult to step into a game without practicing game situations. Mental reps can help, but only so much.

I am thinking since O'Shea pulled Brohm after a couple of ineffective series on Sunday, allowing Marve to finish the game, I gather Marve will start with Dominique Davis moving into the #3 spot.

Kinda like how the Argos went with Collaros two years ago?
