They're on a serious roll but if my Rogers Karma prediction pans out the Jays will continue to win zero when it counts. Used to love baseball and The Jays but those years are long gone.

I'm not liking this. Where (or at least when) would Argos play their 4 consecutive October home dates, if they were to make the playoffs and have success?
It's us vs the rest of the country

I'm torn on the Jays because I'm a fan of the team but can't stand the owners. My support is on hold until Rogers decides they are a money pit and unloads them on someone else.

Hypothetically, if Rogers bought the Riders would you put your support for them on hold?

Actually no because my issue with Rogers is their anti CFL stance. So buying the Riders hypothetically would make them pro CFL and would pacify any animosity that I have towards them.

Well Rogers is blowing dough now. Now Price is a Jay and the pitcher they need and wanted. At one time I would have been thrilled but Rogers, strikes, steroids and stupid money has turned me off of MLB over the years. Boy the media just falls all over itself to talk Jays when they are a so so team.

While Toronto leads the majors in runs, it is 24th in team ERA. Pitching is key to winning over the long term. I predict that even if the Blue Jays don't swoon before the playoffs, they will exit quickly as the team with better pitching nearly always wins when only the top teams are left.

Jerry Howarth on the 590 AM radio broadcast announced post-game a crowd of over 27 000.

What makes me laugh is the numbers announced when Jerry Howarth on the Sportsnet 590 "The Fan" radio broadcasts and/or other media or team sources call a game a sellout. I don't know how many seats are for sale, and that may vary game-to-game, but the Rogers Centre seats about 53 000 for football and about 50 000 for baseball. One night it's a "sellout of 45 500", the next night it's a "sellout of 45 870", then it's a "sellout of 48 215", then it's a "sellout of 47 496". If they're going to try and deceive people about what a sellout really is, how can they fool people if they always announce a different number?

I hope the Jays all get the flu, a cold, mild food poisoning, nothing harmful, just enough for them to take a DUMP...otherwise the Argo's are screwed in october

The argos need to embrace the run the Jays are on and get on the bandwagon to try and snag some fans.

I tried to buy tickets for the yankees game and the only one not sold out is the Friday night game which I can't make it too lol.

I think they have the talent to finish with 93-95 wins and have a real shot at the playoffs! Go Jays!

Currently the Blue Jays stand 2.0 games ahead of the New York Yankees for first place in the east. They are 21-4 in their last 25 games, a streak that I could not have realistically envisioned.

A Blue Jay win and Yankee loss would clinch the AL East.
