Keep calm? More like, "please don't throw beer cans on to the field when the ump has made the right call, lest you continue to make your city look like it's comprised mostly of apes."
I don't normally watch baseball, but when I do, I prefer the Kansas City Royals.
ahhhhh, so the Toronto No Names jinxed them, good to know.
Lets Go METS
What a run. 2015 is a season I won't forget anytime soon.
Congratulations to the Toronto @BlueJays on a terrific season & playoff run! You made our city proud. #ComeTogether

I honestly thought that the Jays would comeback and do to the Royals what the Royals did to them in 85. I was at those two last losses in 85 which at the time really sucked. I think this team had it's chance this year as they traded for this chance. Unless they can sign everyone and bring in a great long reliever and tweak a bit they won't be back next year. They also traded away so much young pitching talent. Every trade involved quality minor league pitchers. This could bite them bad in the future. You can buy a championship.
Oh well I was writing off the dome forever but unless Rogers books some lame crap for next Friday we shall finally have a sort of home date.
Good bye Blue Jays, Good bye Blue Jays, Its good to see you GO!! Hopefully all the free agents leave and go elsewhere. It would be great if they don't get to the playoffs for 1000 years. What a dumb Instagram Post Argos. What were you drinking, the Hamilton water????
CFL alive and well all others can go to Hell!
No need for class in this situation.

Serves Rogers right, should have signed him to an extension earlier instead of waiting to the last minute. AA traded a lot of prospects, if Price decides to take his money and go, along with Buerhle and/or Dickey potential retiring in the off season or prior to 2017, not to mention Estrada might also leave, the Jays could be in a world of hurt, I wonder if they're "fans" will stick around.
EDIT: Should also add that it seems as though a big reason for AA leaving is due to Shapiro having full autonomy over Baseball operations.

Proving once again that Rogers is anti-Canadian.
Another way of looking at it is that Rogers just might be like WKRP in Cincinnati. Mama Carlson had that station set up to lose, and once they showed a sign of progress, she was going to tear it down...unfortunately the series ended at that point, so no idea what might have been.
It's us vs the rest of the country
Really it is all about filling the Rogers coin purse.
When I had heard about all the young quality minor league pitching prospects that Anthopolous traded I knew he was all in for this year. They could be screwed now for the long haul. Oh well sad for them.
Lets be honest, AA was a sub par GM for the Jays, mostly not great. Then boom, he is given money to spend by the also outgoing president Beeston. Guess what in baseball sometimes you CAN buy a championship or at least a contender.
IMO if you are willing to spend oodles of money pretty much anyone can be a winning GM in the MLB.

Good for AA. I would of walked away too after winning executive of the year and then practically having all of your power stripped from you. It's a bit of a slap to the face IMO. Here's an extension but you're just a GM in title only.
Argos Season Ticket Holder 2016-2021.
Pretty sure when this Shapiro guy was hired the Jays were going to can Anthopoulos and the manager but funny thing happened, they got hot and won, kind of screwed their plans up.
As I have stated before I enjoyed their playoff run however if they slide next season they will draw 15-20k a game like they were doing for the first half of this season.
Good on Anthopoulos for having the guts to decline financial security for life in favour of his self respect.
