Perhaps Toronto sports fans will recognize greed at its finest and look to the Argonauts as the best bang for the entertainment dollar..........probably wishful thinking?

I acknowledge that the Blue Jays are not popular with many here, but I think today we can put aside whatever differences we may have with Rogers and by extension the Blue Jays and remember a great Toronto sports figure in Roy Halladay. RIP Roy.

Liking the Blue Jays has nothing to do with a tragedy like this. By all accounts, he was a very good dude. This is very sad. RIP.

Shocked when I read the news. Had a flashback of when Yankees catcher Thurman Munson died in a plane crash in 77. Sad day.

What a shame, great Blue Jay legend who by all accounts was a great person and teammate.
Sadly leaves behind a young family.

Classy Blue Jays broadcaster Jerry Howarth calling it quits.
Blue Jay fans were truly blessed to listen to Howarth and the late great Tom Cheek over the years.

I always enjoyed Jerry Howarth on the radio. Something intangible about listening to baseball on the AM dial.

It seems the Jays and other teams are profiting further through kickbacks from online ticket services which offer tickets at inflated prices.
Really bad optics at the very least, if the Blue Jay on field product slips (which it probably will) you will see attendance nose dive.

Jays closer Roberto Asuna just got 75 game suspension for his domestic violence case that he hasn't even has his day in court yet. Nice society today where punishment and ostracization before conviction is the acceptable norm.
