Penalties and the kick/punt return drops lead to his end. Honestly, not surprised by this at all. Not sure how he'd be considered one of the top corners in the CFL though.

Expecting a player to return punts when he is not a punt returner is a bad coaching decision, not the players fault IMO.

Oh I'm not disagreeing. I defended Campbell last season, but IMO he's easily the worst HC in the CFL currently.
Desjardins isn't a good GM either.

Oh, I agree with you....as for the objectionable conduct penalty that cost MacDonald his job, I really wonder if it was worse than what already takes place on the field each game.

There are certain things that you can't say during a game, which the players know, such as racial epithets. McDonald did not suggest that the call was wrong which was telling IMO.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

I hate to say it, but I have to go with O'Shea there. He makes some pretty awful in game decisions.
It's us vs the rest of the country

Yeah Osh has been pretty terrible, his loyalty to certain players will be his undoing IMO. Chamblin has been pretty appalling as of late, ever since he took over the Riders defense mid season last year, the Riders have sucked big time. Come to think of it, Campbell may not be the worst of the bunch, as Tedford is looking like a flop as well.

I think Tedford will be fine, he has crappy team. Lulay is the most OVERATED QB in the league, a crappy D, i think Tedford has overachieved.

Campbell IMO is the worst CFL coach by a country mile

He had a history of punt returning in the NFL.

Honestly, do we take a look at McDonald? I'm not sure this guy will be on the street much longer than a week.

O'Shea is on my radar, but then at least he's trying to do something about discipline, something that Chamblin appears to not be doing.

Heard a Saskatchewan fan on their postgame say that they should not fire Chamblin and that the NFL is looking at him...not with all the lack of discipline that results in major scores. You wonder if the players are being admonished let alone fined since it happens every game. They were well in that Calgary game until they gave up that TD late in the first half after that 25 yd penalty for the clothes line by that rookie.
