Not too shocked at any of these cuts, Whiteside and Ware simply beat out by better players, shows Barker has done a great job in upgrading the defensive talent this season.

Is Brandon Issac an upgrade over Ware?

A little surprised to see Ware and D.Johnson cut, others not so much. I really hoped UofT product Bradfield would make it as a CDN receiver since we lost Watt and Bradwell.

So that's 4 draft picks from 2015 released. Who has CIS eligibility left?

Can't we add 3 more to the practice roster?

I am not aware that any of them have CIS eligibility left. I am a little shocked that 4 draft picks were cut from a supposedly very deep draft this year. I don't recall any of them really getting any chance to show anything in either preseason game. Unfortunately it just adds more to the CFL 'old boys' adage that only the first one or at most two rounds of the draft are worth paying attention to. I expected Campbell and Bradfield to at least make the PR

I feel sorry for Ware especially after staying in Toronto during the off-season and being committed to making it home even with a new daughter. That must've been a tough one for Milanovich and Barker.

Yes, we are allowed 10. There may be some others still in process. Each of them has to clear waivers and sign a Practice Roster contract

Campbell, King, and Van Roten all made the final roster? It sounds like we're starting two INTs on the OL.

I am not surprised by any of the cuts given the history of nationals in the CFL and the Argos, but I am disappointed that once again some Canadians didn't get much of a chance.

I'd like to see Campbell and Bradfield added to the PR, along with somebody else. I hope Braley isn't telling them they can only have 7 on the PR instead of 10.

Not according to AV; Van Zeyl was on the 1st staring unit at OT last ex, game; was Jerriel King injured or not dressed ? - didn't see him.

Since guys can play a 5th year of CIS ball - seems to me, all draftable CFL players (after their 4th year) have a year left ? Still somewhat puzzled that last year\s draft pick receiver Pzconzak did not get another TC look ??? - this guy had a wayyyyyy better college ball receiver resume (backed by some outstanding CFL Combine testing #s) than the likes of Adjei or Bradfield; but maybe Coombs is a great receiver prospect ?

Also, some of the guys on the 6 game IR (e.g. Walker, Miles) will probably go on the PR when they are healthy, so holding a few spots open isn't a bad idea.

I'm surprised that Bradfield didn't make the roster. Bummer. Looked like he could be the next Bradwell, but faster (I assume). Hope he's added to the PR.

What's the scoop with Dillon Campbell ? Was his practicing not up to snuff? Because that's the only stage he ever got to audition on, AFAIK.

    And
Jaskaran Dhillon... draft picking fail ?

I see that Vidal Hazelton made the team; rather expected I guess, but nevertheless good news, IMO.

I guess an alternate explanation for keeping three INTs is that we're not sure about King's health, and that Van Roten is being kept temporarily as an insurance policy.

All the CFL has to do is change the ratio in favour of a couple of more Canadians. After all, it is the Canadian Football League, and there seems to be sufficient homegrown talent to accommodate the change.

There is a clear majority of Americans featured on CFL rosters now, including the PR. You're expecting a change there to add more "homegrowns" to the rosters ? = fat chance - who is going to push for that ? - the huge majority of Americans running CFL teams (GMs, HCs, OCs, DCs, overall coaching staffs)? The new American CFL Commissioner ? After all, it is the CANADIAN Football League ? - LOL

Well, by my count there are 4 Canadian GM's as opposed to 5 American. If that's a huge majority in your books, so be it.
It's us vs the rest of the country
