Lions-Als has huge crossover implications. And, miracle of miracles, for the benefit of the East.

Would also help if the Riders can sweep the Bombers.

Riderfans.com claims O'Shea says he'll start either Brohm (let's pause here to roll our eyes) or Dominique Davis (let's see what he can do).

With Winnipeg acquiring Matt Nichols, time could be running out on Brohm before he tosses his first TD passes as a pro. Davis had a good pre season with Calgary....but Dickinsons offence maybe a little better than Marcells.

I realize that Marsh had most of the practice reps this week with Cato - who left the team before the game due to a personal issue - getting a few reps himself. That means that Brandon Bridge would have gotten zero reps. However, could Bridge with zero reps have been any worse tonight than Marsh with most of the reps? At some point in the third quarter at least, Popp needed to pull the trigger on Marsh.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

Totally agree that Marsh should have been pulled..... Even just to reduce the number of nightmares he will have ..... Was it 5 interceptions?
The last interception was a nice long bomb ...... That then gave the ALS Defense good field position to score. ..... Strange game plans .... Would've been cool if it worked.

I agree Marsh should have been sat at least for the 4th quarter. Bridge also seems to have accuracy issues and doesn't look to have that soft touch with the ball, but at the same time, how much worse than Marsh would he have been.

5 interceptions and 1 lost fumble.

Yes indeed. Marsh was brutal and OC TS should be replaced asap.

I've always thought very little of Marsh. He has a brutal arm and the only success he ever has is with his feet. In today's CFL, if you can't complete 60% of your passes and protect the ball, you have no business playing QB. Bridge should have at the very least played the 2nd half. At least he would have reached the target on his deep ball attempts.
It's us vs the rest of the country

As terrible as Marsh was I didn't think his pass protection was all that great either.

Yes, or (at the very latest) 5 minutes into Q3. Marsh was < 0 so why not see what Bridge could do? At least he'd get a bit more experience while Popp would've gained an opportunity to evaluate him.
