I don't dislike baseball, but the reason I find myself not listening to 590 is that their coverage of baseball (particularly the Jays) is overboard. There were some mornings where the whole show was Jays. I understand when the team was in a playoff run, but the whole show? It was the same repeated topics over and over. I'd swear it was the Rogers handed down MO for the day.

I remember a time, not too long ago, that 590 was very heavy on Argonauts football. I enjoyed listening to Mike Hogan in the morning and Bob McCowen in the drive home dissect the Argonauts for better or worse many days. I don't recall any complaints either. It makes me wonder how much programming influence the actual hosts have. It seemed liked they had much free will back then.

I still like the Jays and baseball, but you're absolutely right in pointing out that Rogers' coverage of the team is overboard and it has been that way since the big off-season that they had in 2012-2013 even if it only started producing results in 2015 and 2016.

The FAN 590 was pretty Argo friendly up until the radio rights were lost after the 2010 season. Coincidentally that is also when Mike Hogan left for TSN 1050 and Don Landry was removed from the morning show.

Definitely miss the Landry and Stelick morning show. Blundell is even worse than Andrew Krystal was, and that's saying something!

How could anyone be worse than that Krystal was?

Too bad it's only on Hamilton, Winnipeg and Ottawa sports radio.................... I really wish 1050 would get fully behind the Argos and CFL, it'd be even nicer if 590 spoke well about the Argos at least once a day lol
