    I don't think they'll be close.

The Montreal game might be close but the other two have the potential to be routs. You never know in this league. However, I agree with your picks to win.

From an easy 3rd and inches to a missed long FG. Poor finish by the Bombers.

And now the officials are making an apology for a crucial mistake at the end of the game ..... Just prior to the field goal ..... yuk

Can anyone explain where the official erred on that play in the Winnipeg game last night? Paul Lapolice tried to explain on TSN's halftime show today but I did not understand his explanation. Can anyone clarify which official was at fault and for what on that play?

O'Shea suggested that the receiver had asked the side judge to confirm he was properly aligned, and the official nodded or pointed to confirm he was. It is common for wideouts to ask the side official to verify they're onside and properly lined up, so it has a ring of truth to it. If the official said "Yes" and then threw a flag, Winnipeg would have a legitimate beef.

If that is indeed what happened, the league needs to fire that official immediately. That is 100% inexcusable and reeks of some sort of fix.

Inexcusable error, yes; fix... I highly doubt that.

The bigger picture is that the CFL really needs to invest significantly more into officiating. Too often CFL officiating is markedly substandard.

I definitely agree with that. They really have no feel for the game.

Alouettes blew a big chance to get back into the thick of things in the CFL East with their lacklustre 33-21 loss in Regina today. If they don't win in Ottawa on Thursday, the crossover may be their best chance at making the playoffs this season.

Nice to see the real Jonathon Crompton today. Glad he is in the East Division. Despite their play today, I still think Montreal will grab the cross over.

Crazy that he started over Cato. Cato is the only QB that has shown anything for them this year.

Crompton probably started because Popp invoked the "well we won the last time with him under centre so..." rule.

Although it was against the hated Riders, I didn't mind the Alouettes imploding yesterday. But, you cannot write off the Als yet as they always seem to respond whenever the chips are down for them.

    It's easy to agree 100% : )

How many years does Popp have left on his contract? Popp and his best-before date are as New Horizons and Pluto.

The Argos have to play Montreal twice over the next four weeks and have to find a way to solve that Montreal defence.

Indeed, which is something, as we know, the Argos weren't able to do last year.
