That was probably the greatest catch in the history of the Argos. I'm dead serious. Name a better one.

I can't remember if it was Rich or Ron (ad several weeks ago), but whichever of you said this was a team of destiny, I now agree.

Again, I am open to suggestions of better catches -- feel free to make one. I've been watching closely since 1977 and don't recall any. Do you?

There were no catches in 1873 -- the forward pass did not arrive in Cdn football until 1929. There may have been better catches by an Argonaut between 1929 and 1977 but I doubt it.

I was watching that pass and saying "shoot, he won't get it" and then Owens pops up and snags it. Beckham who? That was the best catch I've ever seen! It was in the dying seconds, a TD, and a gamewinner. I agree with "Rocket", Harris is our starting quarterback for this season and beyond. Great road win! 3-0 in their all-whites!

Yeah, let's rag on the penalties instead of celebrating the most clutch win this (homeless) team has had since November 2012.

No ones downplaying this win Paul but eventually the penalties will bite you in the ass.

Hey, Harris is damn good. I didn't rip him at all after the first half. Ricky is the best and that has not yet been proven otherwise.

Trevor Harris threw a perfect ball on that final TD. Owens was held, which is why he had to fly north to get it.

As good as he can be Laing has to do the Hazleton one game sit to calm the nerves as he almost cost the team the game with his undisciplined and frankly stupid penalties.

I don't think so. Anybody would have been emotional over the non penalty which was called roughing on his sack. He lost his head and took off his helmet in disbelief. I'm willing to give him a huge pass on that. As for his 2nd penalty? In essence it was a 3 yarder. No biggie to me.

In all honesty, the games the Argos are taking a lot of penalties, so are there opponents. If the Argos were getting 150 yards to 60 or something like that, it would be a problem. But when the game in general is chippy, and both teams are being penalized (both were well over 100 yards tonight) a lot, I think it is just the actual game dictating what is happening in terms of penalties.
It's us vs the rest of the country

The sack "penalty" was a completely idiotic call, late whistle and the ref standing 10 feet from the sack could see that it was a clean play, Laing reacted as most of would, the penalty late in the game however was pretty boneheaded.
With Laing you have a talented player who plays on the edge and I guess you ultimately take the good with the bad.

Did anyone actually see what Laing did on the late call? Forde immediately criticized him but I don't think we ever saw a replay.

Surprised that nothing is being made of the missed kick-out-of-bound call. Matt Black had it right and the refs completely missed it.
