The Alouettes defense has definitely stiffened. The Alouettes are moving the ball enough to start the Argos out with bad field position as well.

The decision to release Palardy and bring back Alix is looking really bad right now.

Alix's inconsistency shows on a great punt followed by a shank out of bounds on a replay due to penalties.

Jefferson shouldn't have fielded that punt. But, that's two very poor punts by Alix today and this one will likely cost the Argos some points.

Montreal's previous two opponents made Cato look quite ordinary. A lack of pass rush is making him looking him look much better.

Alix's punt comes back to haunt us as the Als score a touchdown. Unfortunately, this game is looking quite similar so far to the late-October game in Montreal that doomed the Argo playoff hopes.

Milanovich and Brady continue to be unable to solve this Alouette defense.

Not a very good half for the Argo offense at all aside for the opening drive. They were actually moving the ball fairly well until the Muamba INT and that gave the Alouettes life. Anthony Alix is absolutely brutal. You cannot allow your punter to cost you games in October! The defense or special teams is going to have to come up big for the Argos in the second half, which worries me because I'm not sure if they are capable of winning the team games like Montreal or Hamilton can.

At the risk of agreeing with OV, the Argos decided to eliminate their running game the moment that the Als took the lead. Whitaker was running the ball well up until that point.

Wow we look horrible. How can you move the ball at will in the first drive and then just stall for the rest of the half. Milanovich is more conservative then right wing Harper. Let's just do the same old same old that doesn't work and do it over and over to see if it still doesn't work.
