Final stats showed Miles had 8 tackles to lead the team, not 6 as I previously said, as well a key sack. Quite a game!

In a game where Harris was not at the top of his passing game, passing for only 182 yards, but did what he had to do to win, the importance of a running game was critical as Whitaker gained 99 yards and scored the winning TD.

2015 draft pick Daryl Waud also deserves some appreciation. He doesn't play every down, but makes plays when called upon.

So at the very end of this article , it states that Alix is now injured and there will be a new punter next game ......

Alix was holding and looking at his hand at one point early in the game so that's not surprising. Whoever punts next game can't really do any worse.

I sat pretty close to the Argos bench

    1) Alix had his leg wrapped up on the sidelines but looked well enough to walk. Might just be an excuse after a couple of poor punts.

    2) I witnessed the Gurley-Brady incident. At the end of 3rd or beginning of 4th after we missed the FG or punted, Gurley went to Brady and I guess must have said something about the playcalling. Brady kept his cool but Gurley was fired up, a bit too much that Milanovich had to step in and sort of had to push Gurley away. I wouldn't put too much stock into this. Guys were frustrated.

    3) Elliot really needs to settle down. He started waving goodbye as the Als offence took the field before their TD. Then got into it with some Als fans. I just feel that Elliot doesn't need to get into it with the opposition. It's not the first time he's done this and would look like a fool if the Als did in fact come back to tie and ultimately win the game.

Impressed that the D held both Sutton and Rutley in check. Felt bad for Devan Smith getting flagged for Illegal Contact that extended Montreal's first TD drive. Who punts for this team on Saturday in Hamilton? Rogers SUCKS. Brandon Whittaker was a warrior today. Rogers SUCKS. 9-5 on the year despite all the off field disruptions....simply incredible. Rogers SUCKS.

If the Calgary team that played Edmonton on the weekend shows up we have a very good shot. I still think Calgary will be a tough one for us. We'll we're in the playoffs and it may as well be on the road because we have a great group or road warriors. What a totally screwed year. ROGERS YOU SUCK LARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to the Montreal game yesterday. Montreal had very good crowd. With the sun and temperature at 25 C it was a perfect all day for football. We were told, it was a great walk up crowd.

They have a very good game experience geared towards the younger fans during the game. Lots of activities & promotions. They advertised throughout the game a 4 game promotion which includes a ticket, hot dog and drink all for $32.00. You could from this promotion that they had sold out the corners and the peripherals to the young fans at this rate. Clearly, with all the university and colleges in Montreal they are correct to go after these millennial fans. Looked to us like it is working.

Toronto could take away a lot from the game day experience in Montreal.

After reading through most of this, I can't believe we didn't lose by 30.

I was at the game too. Too bad some Argofans couldn't meet up, maybe at the tailgate. Weather turned out to be fantastic, considering how miserable it was the two days before while I was in Montreal. Montreal defence is still so very good that the Argos had to switch to more running, since that kept pressure off Harris. He was under a lot of pressure on most of his passing attempts. Love the way he battles through these games.
Games are always fun in Montreal. I also like the way the city helps out with the free buses to and from the game. I think I would drop dead if the TTC ever offered free rides for people with a ticket to any sporting event. Well, they did it for the Pan Am games, which I took advantage of, but it would be really nice if they did it for our sports teams as well. I thought the whole idea of transit was to get cars off the road, not make as much money as possible. Sorry... getting off on a tangent.
I'll be at the game in Hamilton Saturday as well. Hopefully all of you can make it.
