October 30, 2015: BC Lions vs. Toronto Argonauts

This is a must win for BC so kind of worried about tonight's game. At times they have looked real good.... but most of the time not... Think we will need our A game tonight..looking forward to it... I will be there...GO ARRRGOS

It's the recent trends that have me concerned about this game.
B.C. has looked very good in its last 2 games. The Argos have possibly played their worst all season over the last 2 games.
If that trend continues...😩

I'm leaving in about 45 minutes for the game.
I'll be sitting in my season seats in Section 215 row 4 by myself unfortunately - couldn't find anyone to join me tonight!☹️

On TV which game will draw more viewers do you think? Argos or Raptors?

Toronto and Vancouver are two of the 3 largest markets in Canada, although not the best CFL markets this year, they'll still get their share of viewers. Throughout all of Canada, the Argos/Lions game will win out particularly many in BC and Ontario outside of the city markets in the rest of their provinces. Lived outside of Toronto for several years and always got "Go Argos Go," whenever I wore Argo gear, more outside of the GTA than in the GTA. With the Leafs playing, it will be interesting but they may get blown out early against a decent skating Ranger team forcing many to change the channel. Then there is the World Series, where the Canadian viewership may be higher than years previous because fans have followed the MLB playoffs.

All that said, Argos will beat Raptors throughout Canada...bothers me to friggin say this but the Raps may win in the GTA....still though, people that live in the sticks do buy merchandise too, so advertisers will be getting there value.

The Raptors at times have trouble breaking 150,000 and have has games with TV numbers below 100,000

Sadly the sound on television makes it sound WORSE than the THF games.

The Argos need this win, and im hoping that the TORONTO v EVERYONE attitude wins out.

I like the fact that the D forced 3 turnovers in the first half...do not like the fact that the Argos scored 0 points off of them. Jake Rogers does not appear to be a pro kicker. Our Oline looks over matched, Lions do not respect the play fake. Wish Barker could have obtained Rainey off the street. Exciting 2nd half coming up.

The Argos offence was light out all year in the redzone with Harris....hope Ray can continue that success.

No problem...Wendy's Friday Night Football on TSN could use the ratings. Screw the 7:00 pm start, screw the Rogers Centre and screw their stadium food of which the Argos get not a cent from concession sales.

Sad that it seems that low, but what do you expect? The team gave up on home field advantage from game 1 this year with that Ft. Macmurray crap.

I also advocated that the team STAY in 416 during thier exiled home games. Those crowds of 3-4,000 could have easily been acheived at York University and would have provided a better atmosphere which may may have actually seen them perform better. I actually think more would have come out, but at least the Argos could've gauged where there fan base is willing to travel within Toronto. Instead the Argos chose to listen to too many Burlington and Oakville fans. Seems like there is not as many Argo fans in Peel and Halton as some posters here would want you to believe.

In truth, I've been to 2 Skydome games, and the first one at Hamilton, so I've done my part. Second of all, I prefer to not feel rushed in eating a healthy dinner which is why I decided to pass on this game, and attend next week's 7:30 pm start time which affords me that extra half hour to enjoy a meal before heading to the stadium....hope the Argos take that in consideration, and schedule all evening games for 7:30 pm at BMO field.

Stupid 15 yard penalties are haunting this team with one game left.....if it has not been corrected by now it won't be this season.

The Lions sure have got the breaks on their TD drive with Jennings being not being whistled down on the QB sneak and a couple of Argo penalties.
