Last game in the dome? I'm not sure a home playoff game is possible.

It's possible if Hamilton sweeps Ottawa. Having said that, I expect those two teams to split. Ottawa hasn't hosted a playoff game since 1983 btw.

I saw on Facebook that Matt Ware is still in Toronto. I wonder why he fell out of favour? He was a late cut this year. Very good teammate. I recall we were short an International LB/DB and good pedigree out of UCLA. Lasted a year. Perhaps another year in the CFL would help these players better understand our game and our rules? I think Barker is on record as saying he keeps the best athletes, and probably the cheapest. Tough to build consistency with players new to the game.

Interesting Tom Hanks interview on the NFL Network on his Grey Cup experience in Regina. He has spent a lot of time in Canada. Got it pretty pat, except calling Labatt's 50/50! http://www.richeisenshow.com/2015/10...e-show-103015/

I also liked Ware a lot. The only thing I can think of was that it was an age factor thing. He's either 33 or 34, but he was a very versatile player that can play SAM or in the secondary.

And he was prepared to stay and play after he figured out the CFL game and rules. That is valuable. We don't keep many of the players we like here in Toronto these days.

I think a big part of weakness in the Argos secondary is lack of size in the half back position. It really is apparent in the tackling issues that they often get overpowered by not only blockers on the screens, but even the ball carriers. It was embarrassing the way they let Arceneaux man handle them on a couple of plays the other night. That wouldn't have happened to a guy like Ware. Wonder if he could have played half?

So we're locked into third place, a precarious place to start a Grey Cup run. However, Hamilton may be down to its third-string QB and Ottawa must keep Burris healthy or they're in trouble IMO. So we could still eke out a run to the big game. Not having to win this week means we should do some experimenting and make sure both QBs see game action.

On a side note, the CFL is increasingly becoming the old NFL, and the NFL is increasingly becoming the old CFL. Ott wins 12-6 in a game with six FGs. NYG leading NO 49-42 with six minutes remaining in a game with 13 touchdowns and no FGs.

Sad ending to the year as this Friday will be the last game ever in the SkyDome. After a promising start to the season we dropped to many games we should have won, BC was the latest example. There is still hope as Hamilton is totally beatable along with Ottawa. Hopefully after 20 weeks we can find a way to be disciplined and score again offensively.

Milanovich has said that Waters may do FG kicking and punting but not the kickoffs which on at least two occasions is where he has injured himself over the last three years. I am guessing that they will dress Palardy to do kickoffs and as insurance.

Has anybody heard the status of Whitaker? He was down for a while after the last offensive play on Friday. IMO, he's been the best offensive player on the field the last few games, and they can't afford to have him hurt.

He played after he was down. I assume he is banged up but will play.

What happened with Palardy? He will be back Friday? Where was he against BC? I don't get what happened here. The two missed field goals may have been the difference if he was in the line up.

I think the best part of Friday will be our lunch at Amsterdam Brew Pub. I can't wait. First time I was able to get there was last Friday and my burger, salad and beers all ROCKED. Great food at a great location. Then the game sucked. I'm pretty sure the Bomber game will be just as bad as the team looks to be infighting and tanking real good.

I think I heard him on an interview and he was ok. On Sunday he had prayers out for Mike Klassen of the Als.

I wouldn't be surprised if Whitaker was rested on Friday and we saw Josie and/or Kackert get reps.

Last game at the dome, hopefully it's a good one and we see the Argos organization and team go all out for the fans and put on a show.

I hope big time that the Argos lose this game. I am far more comfortable that they can pull off a 3 game win streak than a 4 game win streak
