He actually went and apologized on speaker's corner later that same day:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5a-8m4FJU00

As Ron likes to say, this was the night that the Argos saved Canada.

He didn't even get a one-game suspension as I recall; he was only fined.

Still can remember seeing John Candy sing with the Blues brothers... will never forget that.

I was at the last three grey cups... all lots of fun ... there was several great games against MTL and Hamilton... and a big game against the Bombers way back.

Lots of great players past and present... Pinball , Damon Allan, Doug Flutie , Matt Dunigan... all very class acts....

our Band ... the ARGONOTES.... and our Fantastic Cheerleaders...

    Go ARGOS

I posted this wks ago in the Top 5 SkyDome Memories thread but here it is again, just because.

After going over the results since 1989, I came up with 15 games that to me are the most memorable and/or exciting in SkyDome/RC history. Here they are in chronological order with my top five in bold:

1990 BC 43 Toronto 68 -- Teams combine for most points in a CFL game
1990 Ham 39 Tor 60 -- Rickey Foggie with seven TD passes and 100 yards rushing
1991 Ham 18 Tor 41 -- Rocket's first game plus Blues Brother, Mariel, etc.
1991 Wpg 3 Tor 42 -- Argos dominate their rivals in the Eastern Final
    1994 Ham 36 Tor 39 -- Marvin Graves keys massive fourth-quarter comeback
1996 Ham 38 Tor 36 -- Untelevised shootout between Flutie and Dunigan
1996 Cal 22 Tor 23 -- Two long TD plays by Jet and Masotti in the fourth quarter
1997 Mtl 30 Tor 37 -- Late heroics by Pinball and Flutie to win Eastern Final
2002 Cal 32 Tor 33 -- Prefontaine kicks us into the playoffs on last play
2004 Ham 6 Tor 24 -- Kenny Wheaton runs the length of the field to wrap up Eastern Final victory
2005 Ham 0 Tor 48 -- Just because we beat the Ticats 48-0
    2005 Ham 11 Tor 34 -- Brian Diesbourg kicks for a million
2012 Ham 40 Tor 43 -- Argo fourth-stringers put Ticats out of the playoffs
2012 Edm 26 Tor 42 -- Ricky Ray runs in a TD en route to huge early lead
2012 Cal 22 Tor 35 -- Loudest crowd ever in 100th Grey Cup

Is there any footage available online of that 97 East final? I must have watched it, but I have zero memories of it. I know it has nothing to do with the amount of beer I drink.

Not even close to the best, but one game that always stands out to me is the 2013 home opener. Fresh off a championship win, great time, decent attendance and a classic Toronto vs Hamilton game. Ricky was a beauty as always. Burris thought he threw a TD pass to win the game and he raised his hands up. The day after a friend of mine sent me a picture of Burris celebrating with a caption that read "Winning: You're doing it wrong." This is what the next 48 hours was like for me.

I remember getting my picture with the Cup before that game in the new endzone area. Great crowd, great game, I thought all was good in Argo land, as a new season began.
