Harris is certainly more versatile. He can give the ball to the other team in a much wider variety of ways than Ray could ever dream of.

You can't start a qb who has issues with turning that ball over. Not in the playoffs. Maybe Harris will sort that out next year but the playoffs really isn't the time for that.

You are kidding right, the guy threw for all of I think 47 yards in the second half and we lost the game in the dome because Milanovich didn't pull him in time and perhaps Zach could have been the answer.
You forgot to conveniently mention 0 points in the second half.
I recall most of the fans reaction when there was no change.
Some here have said how the HC over the years has been stubborn to a fault when he keeps RR in far too long.

What are you talking about? I questioned the fact that you said he should have been pulled for Zach in the 2nd half of the 2013 Eastern Final. Not 1 coach in league history would have pulled him in that game. THAT IS A MORONIC OPINION.

For the record, here is the thread from the 2013 Eastern Final. I scanned it semi-quickly and did not see any posts suggesting Ray should have been pulled for Collaros.

I had repressed the memory that Hamilton's offence had possession for 24 minutes in second half. Hard to hold the QB responsible when your defence never gets off the field.

Clearly the entire Argo defence should have been pulled for Collaros.

24 minutes....I recall that...I think Steinaur was sent home early because he was not needed....

We missed leading tackler MLB who was injured and of course Kackert who could have eaten up minutes and sustained drives when we did get the ball that day. That second half adjustment by the TiCat offense was incredible. Scott Milanovich will never underestimate Austin or Steinauer. It was embarrassing to the city of Toronto to have fewer fans than Hamilton in their own stadium after our team finished first the way they did on a 4 game road trip with Ray injured. Essentially only 15,000 Torontonians were there because the rest were TiCat fans. Things have got to change next year.
    GO ARGOS!!!

Collaros is good, but I didn't realize he was that good. The next Theismann perhaps ?
Didn't Theismann also play D when he was here ?

Considering the Ticats still kick our butts, I still don't think Milanovich has figured them out. The only reason I think the Argonauts can win this weekend is because Collaros is not playing.

Why am I having an SNL flashback here re: Da Bears? I think Dikka could have single handedly won for us.

I'm not 100% sold on Ricky Ray as the starter for the Argos to have success. But they're not gonna pay a guy $450000 to sit on the bench during a playoff game.

It's a skit where they have a bunch of Bears fans sitting around the table saying things like Ditka can beat a team by himself 60-0..or something along those lines. They call him Dikka rather than Ditka (to help the confusion). So when Argolio said the entire D should have been pulled for Collaros, it was the first thing that came to my mind.

It really is a funny skit.

Oh okay. I'm going to try and see if I can find it on youtube.
Back to my previous question though, didn't Theismann also play D and I suppose the better question would be was he any good at it ?

Football is a team sport Angelo, Ray will give it 110%, leave it all on the field and let the chips fall where they may.

I know that Theismann returned punts but I didn't think he played any defence.

Anyone hear Theismann on the Fan this morning, they had him on to talk NFL but one of the first things he wanted to talk about was how excited he was that the Argonauts will be playing at BMO next season, love this guy, hasn't forgotten his time with Cahill and the Argos, poor hosts had to discuss the fact they are playing the Ticats in the ESF....priceless!!

Thanks. I've heard for quite a long time that in those days there would be a bunch of guys that played both offense and defense, honestly thought Theismann would have been one of them. Oh well, at least now I know the reason why Toronto lost the East final in 2013 was because we didn't put Collaros in on defense.

Correct Ravi, he returned punts for Washington when Billy Kilmer was still the starting QB.

Did he return punts for the Argos at all? I know he did in Washington and thought he might have in Toronto but wasn't sure on that one.
