A B.C. upset of Calgary would rival the Ottawa upset of Hamilton in 1981 as the biggest playoff upset in CFL history IMO. Ottawa was 6-11 (including their playoff win over Montreal) when they defeated 11-4-1 Hamilton. The Lions are 7-11 and facing a Stamps team that is 14-4.

Possibility for snow in Calgary Sunday.....I really think the Lions are in deep....Calgary in a rout.

I actually had some trouble choosing between Calgary and BC, i know how weird that sounds, but watching Calgary this season, something was off, almost seemed like they took on the energy and style of the team they were playing (mirror them), then would win because of the better talent. Essentially if the other team started slow, so would Calgary, if the other team's defense was playing lights out so would Calgary's etc. I still ended up choosing Calgary, because no matter what they can't be overlooked, Huf has built a solid organization over there, sucks that he's being pushed upstairs.

I believe that BC will make it interesting for a decent chunk of the game. Some ingredients for the upset are present, but Calgary's offensive firepower really should prove decisive.

This potentially has all the makings of the Flutie brothers West Final, with the famous Danny Mac TD pass to Darren in the Calgary snow.
On paper the Stamps should win going away, but if Jennings is hot like a few games ago, it could be an upset.

I'm expecting an upset win for the Lions as I just don't think Calgary is the same team of destiny they were last season.

I wouldn't be surprised at all by a Lions upset win.

Stumps offence is not the same without Cornish, and Mitchell has looked pretty ordinary at times this year - even with that good receiving corps, they have O-line problems with injuries. And their Stubler D is pretty solid but nothing special.

BC need a good all around game on O & D, but maybe their return game can be the difference maker

I just don't see it. I really expect a blow out...of course, that could just be my bitterness, as I thought BC would beat Calgary last week in a meaningless game, and it was the only game I had wrong on my ticket. Kind of sad. 2 weeks in a row where I play a mixed CFL/NFL ticket, and a CFL game is what costs me.

Calgary is simply a much better team IMO. Yes, B.C. could win - and I still say that it would arguably be the greatest upset in CFL playoff history if it happens - but I just don't see it myself. Also, despite all of the injuries, Calgary's offensive line is anything but a weak spot as they gave up the second fewest sacks in the league this year, I believe.

The only edge that I see for B.C. is Chris Rainey. They would need him to have a big game to have any chance on Sunday. Other than him, I don't see any area where B.C. is a better football team. Their kicking game is a bit of a mess right now too.

Yes but the X factor is Jennings.
If he is hot like a few weeks ago plus the combination of the team being a huge underdog with a nothing to lose mentality?

Well, as far as bragging rights go, I was 100% correct about this game. I just don't know how anyone thought a 7 win team would beat a 14 win team.

As I was watching B.C. get blown out yesterday, I was becoming more angry about the Argos not beating them a couple of weeks ago as I believe quite strongly that Toronto would've beaten Hamilton at SkyDome.

Yeah, I know I mentioned that yesterday too. Rogers sucked in more than one way that night.
