No Argo fans better being cheering for Edmonton. They are the closed team to us for most Grey Cup wins. I think it's only two back. We need to hold onto something.

Go Stamps Go!!! Go Ottawa Go!!!

Stamps owe Edmonton as Calgary has had it's share of disappointment over the years and it still hasn't evened out. Walking into Commonwealth and having Messam run wild would be fun to watch.

Seeing Hamilton not making the Grey Cup would be GREAT. Ottawa fans need Grey Cup feelings in their city. It's been a long frustrating time. They can then lose to Calgary.

13 GCs for Edmonton versus 16 for the Argonauts, so yes, I will be cheering for the Stampeders this weekend. LOL!

Me too. I picked the Stamps to win but then changed my mind after grazing a headline about O-line injuries. Edmonton is also a good team, rested, and at home.

I'm not a huge fan of Chris Jones to be honest so I'd love to see the Stamps just win in a blowout. Plus, Calgary is my birthplace.

Has a second place team ever had as good of a record as this year's Stamps have - 14-4? It is rather remarkable that two 14-4 teams will be meeting in the West Final.

Could be two teams wearing black, red and white. The qb's might get confused. haha.

Worst case would be Ed and Ham.

Hey maybe if Ottawa makes the cup they'll finally wear those horrible helmets that never saw the field. Did the players revolt or what happened there?

What a storyline! 'Burris Leads Ottawa to First Grey Cup Championship in Decades' and for the sub heading: 'Burris Throws For Over 400 Yards Over Former Team That Cast Him Aside For Second Week In A Row'

Im just hoping to see Kent Austin be pissed off for an entire game. I have really grown to dislike him as a coach, and wish him nothing but failure in his future CFL coaching career.

I think the Stamps upset Edmonton

Technically YES....and the Stamps are playing with a makeshift O-Line. But you are correct as they are almost 1, and 1A.

I am picking Ottawa and Calgary too. Regarding the Stamps/Esks, there really are a lot of good reasons not to pick Calgary such as that the Esks' defence seemed to have Calgary's number this season and the Stamps' offensive line is a beaten up as it has been for much of the season but I just have a hunch that the Stamps will play their best game in weeks.

I've always considered Hamilton my second favourite team next to Toronto (although some of their fans a bit difficult to take at times) but I'm really rooting for Ottawa today. I was a big Rough Rider fan ever since I started watching and it's great to see Ottawa get excited about it again. The only thing that bothers me about their rapid success is that it may have come to fast, particularly if they do go on to win the Grey Cup. Are Ottawa fans going to get spoiled? They'll hang their hats on this success and the rest of it doesn't matter any more. I hope their passion runs deeper than that. I can't help but to think of something I heard Maple Leaf fan say on the radio onetime that all the Leafs had to do was win one cup and he could live on that and not care what happens to the team afterwards. I wonder how wide spread a feeling that is?

Anyways it will be an Ottawa-Calgary Grey Cup. That two week lay off is going to hurt Edmonton but only if the Stamps can get off to a quick start.

After having lived in Ottawa for many years and having the chance to be involved in a very small way in helping to keep Lansdowne Park for football back in the late 1990s, I have a soft spot for the Ottawa CFL team and always will. I think that the RedBlacks will continue to get solid support regardless of whether they win the Grey Cup or not but I understand what you are saying as some would suggest that support for the Argos was never the same after they won the '83 Grey Cup. Anyway, I am looking forward to two good games today and really hope that Ottawa wins the first one.
