    2016 season tickets question?

Don't know if this is a dumb question or not, but i couldn't get an answer from my ticket rep before. And rudge's email today, as well as, previous emails still don't clarify.

Being a present season ticket holder, do we automatically have a spot for season tickets at BMO, or do we have to go to that argosatbmofield.ca website and sign up like we are new season seat holders? None of us obviously know how they are going to let us chose our seats, but i think it would only be fair being a 12 year season ticket holder that i get a chance at the seats i want as opposed to a new holder.

I have been wondering the same myself, since they keep mentioning that $50 deposit. I first assumed that would be for new applicants for season seats. Why should existing holders have to pay a deposit? My rep told me I didn't have to when I asked over a month ago, but then why would Rudge mention it in his letter to season ticket holders?? Very confusing situation.

It wouldn't be smart business on their part to assume someone will buy without more evidence than "they bought in the past." I assume that all potential subscribers including existing STHs have to send in a deposit. I did so and I think anyone else wanting seats should do so as well.

You can put your deposit down at www.argosatbmofield.ca by logging in through your My Argonauts Ticketmaster Season Ticket Holder Account once you go to the argosatbmofield.ca site.

Two $50 deposits were automatically put on my ticketmaster account manager. After the hearing the news about the Ottawa game being moved, a ticket rep called a few days later and I'd asked that the deposit money be taken out of the credit that I receive. So maybe check out your account, there may be an invoice already for the deposits.

When I was dealing with my refund, I was told that deposit was more for new season tickets. He said I didn't have to put the deposit down yet.

Just a question, how many STHs did the Argos have this year. And does anyone know where they are at for next year?

As I said before, I received an invoice on my account for the deposits.

The rumour is they've sold 10,000 for 2016 and they had 3000 in 2015 but no one really knows for sure.

That is great news for the CFL and the Argos. If they can get the number north of 20,000 I think the atmosphere could rival Hamilton and Ottawa, because you know it'll be loud with the noise bouncing off the new roof. Considering that the 10,000 STs have basically sold themselves without any real promotion is a good sign.

As has been noted in another thread, it's reportedly around 10,000 deposits of $50. That may or may not translate to actual ST's sold. Hopefully 99% of those will go through.
It's us vs the rest of the country

Good point, and apparently the deposits are nonrefundable.
