    I'm with you, the now old logo was great, absolutely no need to change it, I hope they don't f**k up the new uniforms but at this point nothing would surprise me.

    As I said, I have no issue with the logo. It doesn't mean much to me either way. My only problem is I don't get why the logo has to be changed every X number of years. When was the last time the NFL, MLB or NBA changed their logo?

    I couldn't get your link to work. I agree and shake my head with the changes. Having said all that if they put the new logo on a black t shirt I'd wear it. Not my fave but I'll still support my favorite league.

    That I agree with. I like new slogans as a form of marketing.

    Chaps posted these over on Riderfans.com. I like it, though for some reason I thought of Basketball and Soccer Canada when I first saw it. Why is it that fans can come up with better ideas than the people hired by the league ?

    If they put laces on the middle portion of the leaf, it would the perfect logo.

    That's a great video! Not bad on the logo, new fans may find it simple and professional, a step away from people thinking CFL is not as professional as the NFL.

    There is a least (5) petitions ongoing to Jeff "Porridge" to revert the new CFL logo to the previous one. Just Google "CFL Logo Petition" and take your pick, or submit to all of them.

    I am not a fan of the logo. Don't understand how this will fill seats and attract new fans. I guess that is why I am not in marketing... these guys must be brilliant. I don't see how this commish will work out. He looks awkward and does not seem to know what he is taking about. He didn't even know that he had to hand the Grey Cup from the Mounties to the Champs... good thing Brian Williams was there or he would be standing there awkwardly still.

    Maybe he is a brilliant marketer but I have not seen any indication he is the leader / front man for the league. Time will tell. I think the Argo marketing team is heading in the right direction. Need to work on the entire game experience including before, after and during. They need to standardize many aspects of this and create fan enthusiasm. For me personally I don't care about all the antics, the game alone. I do understand that is critical to putting buttocks in the seats and that is fine with me as long as the game is essentially the same.
    CFL alive and well all others can go to Hell!

    I honestly don't believe a logo has anything to do with filling seats. It's up to the individual teams to market their own ticket sales.
