Who is your 2015 Argonaut POY?

It isn't an easy choice, IMHO, because different guys played very well at different times of the year. At one point Harris would have been the obvious choice, but it doesn't seem so obvious any more.

My choice would be Brandon Whitaker. He played consistently well all season in multiple roles and stayed healthy. I was surprised to see that he finished fourth in the league in rushing, despite our strong emphasis on the pass game. He also had 440 receiving yards, which is second in the league among RBs behind Andrew Harris (484).

    B. Whit would be my choice as well.

Despite his late season slump, Trevor Harris. Love Whittaker too though.

Greg Jones was our most consistent high-level player, IMO. Whitaker and Harris also deserving. Greenwood if he had not gotten hurt might have been up there.

Despite the way his season finished, I still have to throw my support behind Trevor Harris. I think he performed quite admirably up until the team had to start playing its games at Tim Horton's Field. He had a relatively inexperienced receiving corps as Owens was hurt at times and Durie was out for the season.

Strange as it is to go with defensive guys considering overall our D was not good, I am splitting the honours between Euclid Cummings and Cleyon Laing. Those 2 each had 8 sacks, which for a DT is very good.
It's us vs the rest of the country

    ^^^^^^^^

This - both DTs played the whole season and at a high level; if I had to pick just one of the 2 it would be Laing - who had significantly more tackles, though they were tied in sacks

Harris did not play the whole season and faltered near the end when the chips were down; Whitaker is a very good all-around RB and might be my 2nd choice, but he should be used more in the offence to be a POY, IMO.

    +1!

Although, seeing Whitaker's numbers above, he gets honourable mention.

I want to say Harris but not sure after his late season struggles. Harris was even the potential front runner as the East MOP after throwing 5 TDs vs Ottawa with Collaros lost for the season.

Jones is my second choice. In addition to being one of the best MLBs in the league, he was *the* best MLB on special teams. But... Whitaker did more for the team, IMHO, when you factor in his very effective blocking. Also, Jones is so much better than Emry that I worry that I'm overrating him.

Harris is my third choice. He had a very good year overall, but I can't overlook the way his TD:INT ratio got progressively worse as the season went on. I'm excited to see what he can do next year, after gaining so much experience.

Picking two guys is cheating! ;)

    I lean to Greg Jones.

In the overall organization I'd give some kind of an award to Milanovich. Squeezing ten wins out of this team with a lame duck owner, only five real home games, and an injured starting QB for most of the season was damn near a miracle.
