I have that cap, still; traded for it with an Argo fan I ran into at Lansdowne back in the day (the similar one i gave up was just with the Argos helmet); MBT's looked shiny brand new though, so is it available now somewhere ? ;o)

Sure we're talking about the same hat? I've looked at the caps there before, and again just now, and haven't seen it.

I'm pretty confident it's an original, not a reproduction.

That's not the one he's talking about. The one on Realsports is a new retro (and a very nice one) worn by Dinwiddie today. MBT was rocking a 1990 Argos script logo, corduroy, during his recorded interview. That one's not available anywhere now and has to be authentically from 1990. Along with OV, I also have that one.

Sure looked shiny new though Paul - maybe somebody had one mint/never used and gave it to MBT ?; mine is all faded to not near as dark blue as the original (washed it numerous times likely), with a few tatters. Glad to see that though - a current guy rocking some old CFL gear.

MBT has been rocking old-school Argo gear since last season. In the video segment about him for the upcoming rivalries show that Lebron James's company is producing, he is wearing a garish Argo t-shirt circa 1991-92. It's very cool to see him wearing this stuff.

Ah yes....the 90's! Everything was "Extreme", "X-Treme" or at least "Bold"....! Some horrendously ugly graphic designs back then.

MBT also has an original Argos Starter hooded jacket. It’s black, never seen it before and I was eyeing that piece as well but was ridiculously priced at like 300 something dollars.

I love that he wears lots of vintage Argos gear! This particular hat was the first one I ever owned. I've also seen him wearing a hat from 92 as well shirts from 91. I wonder if he has been able to get some of them from the Argo offices or something.

I have also noticed him wearing hats with his number on them. I wonder if that is just a random purchase he made, or if he is starting his own MBT merch line? I like Macbeth, so I would buy one!

Was at Pro League Sports in the Beeches. They had about 5 or 6 varieties of ARGO caps in stock if you're looking for a new ARRGO Cap and looking to support a local business.

I have played on touch football teams with the owner of that store, Tex Thomas. Super nice guy and ran a legit 4.4 in his day.

I am needing an ARGO SWAG Upgrade. Glad I can do my cap upgrade at Pro League Sports in the Beeches. Owner is indeed a good guy and the ARRGO cap selection is excellent.

Had a stop-over at the island / Billy Bishop on Saturday - a bit of time to peruse the souvenir shop in the lounge: what sports gear would we find there ... Maple Leafs gear of course - caps, jersey, assorted other stuff (also some other NHL team caps); Blue Jays caps and stuff (also some other MLB team caps); Raptors caps, shirts, etc. Toronto FC gear prominently displayed; Toronto Rock - lacrosse team ??? - hats; and, also ... ZERO Toronto Argonauts (established 1873) gear ??? - hey, aren't they owned by a big sports machine right now ? I started to worry I might get busted in a Toronto airport for daring to wear an Argos cap - LOL.

Pathetic situation of course, that speaks volumes. Reasonable explanations welcome. But please, no sorry bean-counter / corporate weasel excuses. ;o)

Situation was almost equivalent store at Pearson (this one was sports themed). Leafs, Blue Jays and Raptors heavily featured and a few Argos stuff, but not many.

I found a bunch of points on my membership... was able to get a sweatshirt for Half price. Took a while to process but was a good deal... if you're at the game today ... or the playoff game ... might be worth checking out...
