Behind the Scenes of Phase 2 at BMO Field

    Hello Argos Fans!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiSx1B-AzDw
Go behind the scenes of BMO Field’s Phase 2 Expansion with PCL Senior Project Manager Neil Barrows to watch a 600-ton crane lift roof sections into place, and learn about the complex engineering and planning involved in creating a new stadium within an existing structure.
All it takes is a $50 deposit per seat, to reserve your spot in line to purchase tickets to the inaugural season of football at BMO Field and to guarantee yourself the right to purchase a ticket to the 104th Grey Cup. Let me know if there is any interest at all to return to our team to experience football the way it was meant to be enjoyed; watched live, played on grass and in the open air.

Sorry about that. I meant to include a different video (see below). Somehow I clicked on the wrong url.

With Toronto Argonauts due to move in, a tour of BMO Field renovations

BMO Field, the home of Toronto FC since 2007 and the Toronto Argonauts starting in 2016, is getting a makeover. The Toronto Sun goes on an exclusive tour of the stadium.

Except for the dressing room, I don't think any of that is relevant considering they will only be there on game days. Coaches offices and training room would be at their practice facility in Downsview.

I had this thought originally as well, but I wonder if the coaches will have their own room or something. Could be wrong but I don't think it'll just be locker room stalls - if that makes sense. A trainers room for injured players etc should be included in some capacity; maybe it's a shared room ?

Betting on the trainers room being a shared room. Coaches will likely have there own room with a door into the locker room on game day. Nothing permanent.

Well it was obvious from day one of the announcement of the Argos at BMO that they would once again be second class citizens in another stadium. The schedule proved that. Just wait for the uproar when they chew the shit out of the field on the first bad weather day.
I do like the fact that the replacement sections of sod are larger and thicker then normal but I hope they are correct when they think it'll be fine after three days down. I don't see it.That gives little time for sections to grow together and become firm. This becomes an issue late in the year for sure. No Double Blue paint on the field. That SUCKS!!! The Argos might be playing there but it's once again not home. They are like unwanted renters.

I don't buy that the Argos are second-class citizens at BMO. MLSE just wants TFC fans not to riot so they are telling them what they want to hear. In a couple of years, it will be interesting to see whether BMO is better known as "The Home of the Argos", "The Home of TFC" or both of those equally. I am guessing that it will, for the Argos, be no worse than the home of both equally. At SkyDome, the Argos were clearly second-class citizens from the time that stadium opened and that was never going to change. I also don't think that the colour of the seats means much. The B.C. Lions played at home in front of blue seats for many years while the Eskimos played decades before red seats at Commonwealth.

I myself believe that this season they will be second class citizens of sorts. Not as bad as at Skydome, but still second class. But I'm not complaining. I think for anyone to believe they should go in there ahead of TFC or even as equal tenants is a little bit delusional. Let it play out. If the Argos fill that place and start making people money, look out TFC, your perch at the top might be in jeopardy. And maybe, just mabye that's what TFC whiners were really scared of the whole time.

The Argonauts play 10 - 12 games a season. TFC plays more games and starts earlier so they're going to get first choice of dates, it's only practical.
