When you walk around the Exhibition Grounds they have markings in the parking lot of where home plate was at Exhibition Stadium. BMO Field is North West of where Exhibition Stadium was. BMO Field is much closer to the Gardiner where as Exhibition Stadium was much closer to Lakeshore Blvd.
If you look at an aerial photo of the Exhibition Grounds you can see what I would call an imprint from the "L" shaped grandstand that was built for baseball. That was closer to Lakeshore certainly, but based on the posted photo in addition to looking at some historical imagery on Google Earth it appears that BMO Field stands roughly at the western end of the old covered grandstand (on a different axis).

Sort of, BMO still covers part of the footprint left by the old covered grandstand.

no, ex footprint was much 2x-3x bigger than bmo. rotate the ex 60degrees so its north-south (not southwest-northeast) and you have bmo.
Bmo is really compact and sits where southwestern half of old grandstand, southwestern half of the football field, endzone/3rd base seats.

Interesting video on some of the things that can happen to make a groundshare work
I would like to see videos of the new dressing rooms, offices and training facilities for argos at .bMO. These videos don't show them but they do show the bars, restaurants etc.
