I hear N.E.S. I think Nintendo Entertainment System. Hard to escape corporate branding with acronyms.

As long as you refer to the Air Canada Centre as "New Maple Leaf Gardens", I suppose that is acceptable.
    Otherwise, it's just weird.

Hey thanks for clarifying proper stadium calling ediquette, you may want to get that in writing. ps- Maple Leaf Gardens still exists and acc is at a different location.

    Maple Leaf Gardens?
    Doesn't exist.
    Mattamy Athletic Centre.

Unless you call that "Old Maple Leaf Gardens".

My point: why not just call stadiums/arenas by their proper names?

BMO Field is at a different location than Exhibition Stadium.

Actually, it does exist. I believe the sign on the building on Wellesley still says Maple Leaf Gardens.

Mattamy Athletic Centre is just a part of Maple Leaf Gardens as is Loblaw's.
It's us vs the rest of the country

When you walk around the Exhibition Grounds they have markings in the parking lot of where home plate was at Exhibition Stadium. BMO Field is North West of where Exhibition Stadium was. BMO Field is much closer to the Gardiner where as Exhibition Stadium was much closer to Lakeshore Blvd.

If you look at an aerial photo of the Exhibition Grounds you can see what I would call an imprint from the "L" shaped grandstand that was built for baseball. That was closer to Lakeshore certainly, but based on the posted photo in addition to looking at some historical imagery on Google Earth it appears that BMO Field stands roughly at the western end of the old covered grandstand (on a different axis).

Anybody know yet how many parking spots will be available. I use to drive and park there all the time, but always took the GO to the Sky Dome. It looks like the parking space isn't as large as it was for the EX.

So it's in a different location then.

Sort of, BMO still covers part of the footprint left by the old covered grandstand.

no, ex footprint was much 2x-3x bigger than bmo. rotate the ex 60degrees so its north-south (not southwest-northeast) and you have bmo.

Bmo is really compact and sits where southwestern half of old grandstand, southwestern half of the football field, endzone/3rd base seats.

Take the GO when the EX is on. I learned that one the hard way.

I would like to see videos of the new dressing rooms, offices and training facilities for argos at .bMO. These videos don't show them but they do show the bars, restaurants etc.
